A great place to go for lunch, a bustling atmosphere, the fish and chips looked great but we opted for a sandwich on a very hot day - disappointing, the gammon was fatty, and the bread was
sliced

You couldn't get a better sea view than from their outdoor Terrace.
Lovely setting, wooden table and bench.
The food is a bit overpriced for the mains: had a fish and chips and a salad. The salad was creative and well presented, but the portion was far too small for that price.
The dessert were a very nice surprise. Excellent presentation, original and full of flavour: had the figue tart and the lemon tart both priced at £5.50
Would definitely recommend this place on a quiet day - may, June or September but would avoid it during the summer as it gets overcrowded.

This is normally my favourite place but went in last week for a quiet coffe with a friend and couldn't believe they had club music on - really loudly. It was quite surreal seeing old folk reading their papers with booming 90's tunes. I am only 30 years old but it drove me mad. Either someone's iPod was being used because of a music malfunction or the new managers in charge are trying to change the place in a bad way. !

I grew up in Broadstairs and return every few years. The Albion Hotel looks marvellous and is in the best position overlooking the bay. Sadly the food is abysmal. We had fish and chips: soggy fish and stale chips. We left most of it. You really need to lift your game Albion Hotel. It should be the best place to eat in Broadstairs.

Ordered a three lite bites, not too difficult you'd think. The prawns (ordered in error but hey ho!) came minus the bread only realised the omission when we looked at the menu to order dessert. Asked by staff would you like the bread now!! As I'd finished my meal about 15 minutes ago not really helpful. Tried to order the cheese plate, well the staff thought as we'd had a main meal we would finish off our meal with a cheese burger!! Again bit odd but hmm. After 30 or so minutes waiting for our cheese plate we asked if it was coming to be told oh I'll chase it up. Another half hour passed and no cheese. Manager seemed to suggest it was our problem that his staff didn't know the difference between cheese plate and cheese burger!! On a positive note we had a meal in the restaurant the night before which was great and the service faultless.
