Lots of interesting toys and games from the late Victorian and early 20th century in the museum shop, of the sort that you don't see in mainstream shops. Friendly staff andan interesting museum of Hornsea life too . Worth a visit if you are passing .

This little quiet unassuming back water of a museum is a box of delights. Step inside the old cottage and you step back in time. Lovingly restored and supported it really should be on your list of must does whilst visiting the town. A little treasure tucked away.

What a wonderful little museum! It captures the true feel of Victorian life in a rural/coastal tow with 'hands on' experience of daily chores.

This is a great little museum you have to go to believe there is so much to see inside and outside although it looks very small from the outside it's like the tardis I would recommend.
