This is a lovely little cafe with bone china cups and saucers and floral table cloths. Very good food and lovely home made cakes and scones. Very pleasant staff and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We felt we were on holiday it was such a lovely ambiance. It was clear that all others eating there enjoyed it too. Thank you. Will return.

What a lovely place this is. Very friendly staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Delicious reasonably priced food, the best blueberry and lemon cake ever, and to top it all, a lovely bottle of Prosecco to wash it down. Great pot of tea too. Lovely end to a great day out with the girls. We just wished we lived nearer.

Just had lunch in this excellent tea room. The service was wonderful, and the food second to none. The best tea room we have visited all holiday.

Thanks for a great lunch

Visited to day after a walk along the river at Matlock, the cafe is set out as a Victorian tea room, the staff very welcoming and polite. A good selection of cakes are available but if you wanted more a full English breakfast for only £7.50 or scrambled eggs and salmon on toast for £6.50
Well worth a visit for a good cuppa and something to eat
All welcomed, ramblers, dogs and children

Popped in late in the day. Had cream tea with lashings of jam and clotted cream. Also tried the cheese scone gorgeous. Coffee also lush - give it a go if you’re in the area!
