We have just returned from 2 weeks in Kayakoy, in Vedat and Sue's relaxing, beautiful oasis, with large pool, palm trees, roses and many colourful, carefully tended plants. The villas are well designed and comfortable and Vedat,Suzanne, their son Tarkan, and their staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. There is very good walking nearby, part on the Lycian Way, and with advise from the owners we enjoyed walking in the hills amongst all the spring flowers, herbs and butterflies. Although there are many eating places in the area, the restaurant at Karmylassos is well recommended.

Room Tip: I think that all cootages would be very good

Myself and a friend stayed in there largest cottage that they had which was opposite the owners accommodation. The cottage itself was lovely and was very clean just like the pool area and restaurant and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. I travel to turkey 2/3 times a year and this was the first year I decided to stay in villas. I'm not sure I would go back to hotel

The location of the cottages is beautiful and so peaceful and but if you do not hire a car it can be difficult to get around and see the many neighbouring places that are a delight to see. I find driving there very easy as-long as you stay on the right side of the road.

If you need any advice on what's in the area or how to get anywhere the owners are always there to help. They have a restaurant on site which I found a little on the expensive side compared to the other restaurant within the local village (kayakoy) so it is worth going for a walk to see what's around.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Karmylassos cottages and there is no other way to describe our week other than perfection! this was our first trip to Turkey and what a wonderful Embassador Verdat is for his country! The cottage was absoloutely first class from the layout to the fabulous way it was decorated, we had a three bedroom cottage and the master suite had a four poster bed, it was just like being on our honeymoon all over again just 37 yrs later! Verdat and Suzanne are fantastic, nothing is too much for them, they are their for you 100% and give you advise on the places you should visit and the resturants to try while you are there. We have never been to a better BBQ, Verdat really takes pride in his BBQ nights and goes all out, only problem is that the food is so good you end up going back to your cottage very happy from the wine and very full from the food! we can't recommend Karmylassos cottages enough, and to stay in Kaya koy amist all it's beauty, you simply have to try it! we will definantley be booking for next year. We really miss our evenings sat by Verdats monster fire drinking wine and listening to all of Verdats wonderful stories.Kim & Paul

We had three weeks in the Kaya in September and our last week we spent at Karmylassos. This was the second time we had stayed here and it just gets better each time, we would say that this is the "diamond of the valley". Nothing is to much trouble for Suzanne & Verdat they go that extra mile to make your stay perfect. The Friday night barbeque is a great way to meet the other guests and the food was excellent. Our only regret is that we did not spend the entire three weeks here, still you live and learn. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: All the cottages are superb
