Popped by Barbate as part of a driving day-trip back to Malaga, decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews alone and was delighted that the reviews were spot on!
The restaurant is located in a quiet street, in the middle of two housing blocks and it felt really homely and definitely a place that the locals would come and grab a bite for lunch.
We had the l'atùn encebollado and el calamar a la plancha to share between two people and the tuna dish was amazing... tender, juicy and flavourful - I couldn't get enough of it! The squid dish was really nice as well and we pretty much cleared out our plates... ;)
