Another evening booking and late arrival (7pm), but Maella welcomed me well, and had room heated in preparation even though I seemed to be the only guest (that's not always the case in B&B's in low season!). At 35 euro B&B for the night it was very good value, and that to me is the appropriate price for B&B, particularly in the low season. The room was nice, with all that was required, clean and comfortable and very quiet, despite main road nearby. The view was spectacular and breakfast in the morning overlooking the bay was a very pleasant and peaceful start to the day. It is a few minutes drive into town if required. I ate at the Seanchai pub, a couple of minutes walk away (bring a torch if walking in dark - very busy road). The food there was surprisingly very good, limited menu but fish and chips was quite spectacular!
