my mother won a sunday lunch voucher on wlr for here and found it to be no prize , they were nice to us till we told them it was a voucher then suddenly the friendliness disappeared ,the food was overcooked and sparse ,the decor was nice ,old stone with wooden tables ,but a bit cramped .depending on area you are seated , large smoking and drinking area just outside so smoke tends to seep in ,not the cleanest .

Dont miss this one, after a long day roaming around the country side we stopped here for dinner. There was a huge selection on the menu. The meals we had were really tasty and good sized portions. Service was fast and friendly. All in all, bery good value.

We called in here by chance, and were very impressed with the wide selection on the menu. The service was excellent, even though it was Saturday evening, and the food was cooked to perfection.

Big fireplace and the Powers and Paddy Irish Whiskeys are worth trying!

Read about this pub in a travel book - easy to find, the staff is very friendly and the food was quite good. It was foggy and damp when we arrived, so sitting by the fire made for an ideal evening.
