I stayed at Dun Ard with friends from Sweden. I have stayed in many B&B's in Ireland but this was the best ever. The rooms are to 5 star hotel standard, perhaps even better and I am not kidding. The house is a contemporary design with fantastic ocean views over Waterford. There is a pub 50 metres away for a nice drink with the locals. The owners of the B&B were very welcoming and are happy to help with ideas for restaurants, sights etc. Everything topped off with a first class breakfast and we were on our way. Pity - we didn't want to leave....

You arrive strangers and leave old friends, they are a very warm and welcoming couple and make you feel soo soo welcome. we were travelling with a 10 month old baby and her needs and noise were no problem at all! the house is wonderful and in a superb location.
I honestly could find not one single thing to complain about. 10 out of 10!

Myself and my other half spent a couple of delightful days in this beautiful house, with just the most charming hosts you can imagine. Over the years we have stayed in many B & Bs and Hotels, this one surpasses the lot. Some offer fine accommodation and very little else, whilst others offer hospitality but fall down on the accommodation, both Joe and Anne have got it just right, fabulous room, mighty breakfasts, lovely hosts ( couldn't do enough for us) went away feeling that we had known them years. Can't wait to go back.

Joe and Annie Mae could not have been more considerate or thoughtful. Not only was the breakfast delicious (I even have a picture to prove it) and the room luxurious and beautifully decorated but they did everything to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. Joe even programmed his cell phone / GPS with directions to all of the local sites and insisted we take it. They went over the top to make our holiday enjoyable.
The house is a showcase and has a wonderful separate lounge to relax in during the evenings, the view of DunGarvan Bay is spectular, the bed room is exceptionally large, and the bathroom .

Lovely house with friendly and helpful hosts. The room was beautiful. Excellent value for money, even with the curent poor exchange rate. The pub across the road is good and it's worth your while getting into a conversation with the locals.
