Lovely friendly bar with great food and great drink. A big cosy open fire in the heart of West Clare. What more needs to be said.

Tony Cogan is a great host at this newly renovated pub-restaurant. For the best beef or even better... Lamb burger go to Cogan's. If you have a larger group ask for the newly renovated area at the back with sky-lights and great atmosphere. Live music several nights a week - a true hidden gem.

Family friendly, good tasty food.....they are happy to switch food, add mashed potato and gravy...basically very accommodating. Owner Tony is a character. He has been known to dress up as St Patrick and lead the parade on St Patricks Day. A firm favorite in Miltown.

I've been to Cogan's many times over the years. It's a favorite in our family with adults and kids. Tony Cogan, the proprietor, is a very engaging publican and his staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks to the good value we lunched twice in two days here! The soup and sandwich is a full meal for euro 6.5 and the kitchen will make reduced size kids portions of some special dishes. Well done to all the team.
