Description: Montebuoni The restaurant is a quiet corner in the hills around Florence that 'primarily' kidnapped some years ago Emilio Marchitti, chef established by a career of over 35 years, almost all spent in Tuscany at the best hotels and restaurants in Florence and surroundings .The creative cuisine of Emilio, a restored environment, an outstanding view over the valley of Greve, a beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside of Florence.

Another recommendation from Villa Murray.
Great views from the terrace. Excellent service and great food. We had a lovely evening here with friendly, efficient service.

We arrived early (at 18:30 - normally the restaurant opens at 19:00) but the staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel comfortable. The view from the terrace is great, the food was splendid, service was correct, friendly & nice for kids.

We were told by the owner of our hotel to go and tell the chef Emilio that we wanted whatever was best. Obviously that's every chef's dream. What we didn't realize is (since this was our first night in Italy) that a typical meal is 5 courses!!! Each one more delicious than the last with a breathtaking view, we were in heaven - but could barely move at the end! :) So delicious but now we share dishes instead of one each! :)

I have now eaten many times here at Montebuoni, and i have also attended a fantastic wedding here in October. The food was always amazing, fresh, and cooked with love and attention to detail. Beautiful executed from simple crostini with chicken liver pate to the most beautiful pasta with lobster. The service is one of the finest and friendliest i have come around in Italy. Well worth a visit.
