Sitting just outside the delightful village this is one of the best restaurants in the entire area. The best options are the various set menu's, starting at 40 , we had the 55 euro menu, consisting of 5 courses plus amuse bouche,
The pecorino soufflé was as light as anything ,the fish carpaccio full of flavour, the only issue was with the pasta course which we had requested without the seafood sauce, the maitre d even came back and discussed it with us.then announced when serving that the chef paid no attention to our request, which spoilt this part of the meal.
The salt encrusted fish had to be sent back as it was underdone when brought out but was delicious upon its return. The dessert a melon tart tatin was very good.
There is an extensive wine list which offers reasonable wines to some outstanding tuscan greats.
Service is of a high standard without being too officious and the owner is very hospitable and deserves the credit for a fine establishment
