Restaurant is on the hillside just before montalcino looking down on the beautiful landscape. The service is good and polite. Both our starters we good but not great, Gorgonzola soufflé was a little heavy and the goose carpaccio could have done with something rather than a few green leaves in the middle. It was served with a bread. We had yet to try a Fiorentine steak so decided to have one here. The steak was well cooked and very tasty. Only slight gripe is over salting with rock salt. I ended up scraping it off. We finished it off with amaretto ice cream which was nice. Overall I would give a 7/10. With a €50 bottle of wine and the Fiorentine steak a hefty bill of €166 for two. Nice as a special night especially considering the hard to beat views.
