Description: We would like to thank all our guests that visit and reviewed us in our first 8 years of activity, Deborah & Joost. Our Winebar-Enoteca is specialized in platters prepared at the moment with local sliced cuts and cheeses.we don't not serve pasta, or maincourses because our philosophy is doing just a few things...but done in the proper way. Genuine ospitality and our motto "come like a guest go like a friend"

Wonderful wine bar with great hosts! Joost and Deborah can tell you about all of the wines, cheeses, meats, and chocolates that they serve. The place is relaxed and unpretentious, with a rooftop terrace (alas, not much of a view), with tastings available, and all bottles (with the exception of large-format bottles) being less than 120 Euros ($158).
My wife and I shared the “friendship platter” of sliced cheeses and meats, and each of us had a five-wine tasting flight – all great quality. For dessert, my wife had a fruit tart and an additional glass of wine, I ordered two bars of chocolate (each 150g) and a glass of cognac. We liked the chocolate so much we picked up two additional bars to take home to friends – total: 70 Euros ($92). This was a steal [especially after a week of astronomical prices in Switzerland].
If you’re looking for a simple snack or dinner with meats, cheeses, chocolates, and wine, this is the place.

We have holidayes in Tremezzo for a number of years and first visited Canina Follie four years ago. Since then we have have visited many times and each time had wonderful time. Joost and Deborah are perfect hosts, warm, welcoming and friendly as well as being exteremely knowledgabe about wine. They are always willing to spend time with guest explaining about their exceptional wines and also the local produce. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They also offer the facility to purchase wine and have it shipped pretty much worldwide at reasonable costs. I have just place another order with them which should arrive soon and I very much look forward to receiving it.
If you are holidaying in Tremezzo or indeed anywhere on Lake Como I urge you to vist this fantastic wine bar.

We have been to many wine tastings. Cantina Follie is one of the best we have been to. It is a little quaint place in Tremezzo Italy. A must if you are there. The owner was so knowledgeable. We were very impressed. The freshest cheese I have ever had in my life. The wine was amazing, in fact I bought a case. I highly recommend going here.

It was late and our hotel manager called to see if they were still serving. It was tricky finding it but worth the effort. The selection of cheeses and meats complimented our wine so nicely. The location was unique and the owners made us feel like we were visiting friends. It was just delightful and would probably be so any time of day.

This is the kind of experience for which we travel. On a damp evening in late April, when the treasured restaurant in our albergo was closed, we visited the chef’s recommendation—Cantina Follie-- down the road in Tremezzo. What a great recommendation. We walked up very steep stairs from the lake front after asking a passerby for help in determining which stairs, to find a cozy and friendly wine bar. We were in a small room with 3 tables—one occupied by a party of Dutch school teachers who were thoroughly enjoying themselves and the other by a quiet couple from Atlanta who later came over to chat. The hosts were equally attentive to all, in multiple languages. We started by sharing a flight of 5 Italian wines—all of which were new to us—with an accompanying "Tagliere dell'amicizia", a salumi and formaggi platter, that was plenty for two, and then moved on to glasses of our favorite wines from the initial tasting. We would have loved to continue with more wine, but, alas, someone had to drive back up the road from Tremezzo at night, in the rain. Our hosts had offered information about each wine initially and answered our later questions with impressive knowledge. They are definitely the real deal and clearly in love with what they’re doing. Cantina Follie is not to be missed if you’ve anywhere near Tremezzo.
