The apartment is well located on the Amalfi coast with easy access to a number of nearby tourist attractions. The view from the apartment looking down onto the Tyrrhenian Sea is stunning.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, well appointed and recently decorated. There is an allocated parking space which is a bonus for this area!
Leopoldo and his wife were very friendly and helpful.
We have just returned from a 9 day stay in the Zaffiro apartment in Furore - midway between Amalfi and Positano.
Wow! The views from the balcony are extraordinary and we could not get enough of them - just sitting watching the sunset with a beer or glass of wine and just absorbing the beauty of nature.
The apartment itself was immaculate and very well appointed with modern and tasteful furniture. There were two bedrooms, and a large kitchen/dining/living area. The kitchen had all you needed if you wanted to cook a meal - full size fridge and freezer and a 4 burner cooktop with an oven and a dishwasher.
The bedroom was spacious with plenty of closet space and the same stunning views with doors that open onto the balcony. There were also rolling shutters so that you could shut out the magnificent sunshine if you wished. The second bedroom was just as nice.
The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower, toilet, bidet and excellent washing machine.
We had a private off street parking space which was very handy indeed in this area. For most of our stay we simply parked there and used the local Sita buses to travel around. (cheap and reliable - only 1.30 euro per trip into Amalfi which took 30 mins).
Our host, Leopoldo was a delightful, friendly and very helpful host. He plied us with wine and local delicacies which was appreciated. His knowledge of the area was very useful and we enjoyed our frequent chats.
It was a quiet and peaceful location, well situation well situated for exploring the Amalfi coast, as Amalfi itself has many ferries going up and down the coast as well as across to Capri. There's also a local bus terminus next to the ferries, so getting about was nice and easy.
Amalfi itself has a small local supermarket for your daily supplies, and many restaurants and cafes to sample to local cuisine.
