We went for a 4 night stay with our 2 yr old child. The family owned hotel has just 4 rooms, and the owners are extremely friendly and generous. All rooms have the sea view , and are clean and spacious. There is a small terrace facing the sea where you can relax and enjoy the sunset. The entire setting is peaceful and the perfect place to regenerate and relax. Their breakfasts are abundant with home made jams and cakes. Car parking is available just around the corner and there are about 30 steps that lead to the hotel.
The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, but there is an "agriturismo" not far from there that makes excellent home make cooking and a good price range.

Stayed one night.
The service was super- we didn't want to go in the darkness to the closest restaurant so the owner brought us delivery from there by himself!
Amazing breakfast, sea view from the nice balcony is the most impressive in the Amalfi cost.

We stayed at L'Eco dell'800 for 3 nights. Half way between Amalfi and Positano, away from the tourist zones and immersed in a hillside village with a view to die for, you will be delighted with the modern and spacious rooms, an amazing view of the Amalfi coastline, warm and generous hospitality. A great romantic getaway and place to wind down after a day of touring or hiking. Car recommended, but once there you can take the bus to Positano or Amalfi to avoid the cost and challenge of finding parking. HIghly recommended
