Description: Thanks to the passion, perseverence and the complete dedication from Salvatore Criscuolo, better known as "O Capo" and his lovely unforgotten wife Teresa, the Polisportiva, renamed in "Le Bonta del Capo" is today one of the most popular and appreciated restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. Located in a privileged position, the location appears to be disputed between the intensiv blue of the sea and the brightness of the sky, nestled between lush harmonies of terraced olive groves, vineyards and lemontrees. On the terrace of Donna Teresa, where you have during the sunset the unique feeling to be untited with the horizon, where a deep red paint the nearby island of "Li Galli", directly in front of the "Faraglioni" of the flirtatious Capri, here you will find you enjoying the delicious regional cuisine accompanied by the finest wines of the coast of Amalfi and Sorrento. The timeless pizza contribute to give you a greater sense of being welcome and of the hospitality of Naples. As a reward for your appearance, you will be certainly attracted by the nearby "Punta Vreca", a breathtaking viewpoint in form of a ship overtopped with the tower "Capo del Conca", a natural ancient harbour, a defense post with vice-regal watchtower, designed to curb the invasions of the pirates from the seaside. Surely you do not pass unnoticed a quiet harmonious way in the nearby of the restaurant, which is called "Cinque Essence", meaning for San Alfonso Maria de' Liguori, who named this way during his walks from the monastery Santa Rosa. The monastery is a holy place and the birthplace of the famous and popular puff pastry cake Santarosa. Surrounded by olive, carob, pomegranate, grapes and lemon the bishop was inspired to call it "Cinque Essence". For those who love the sport, there is above the restaurant the possibility to use one of the two multi-purpose courts with artifical turf for football, tennis or volleyball. Also with a playground and entertainment games for the smaller of us. We are waiting for you, here in Conca dei Marini, where we have "In each window the sun and out each window the sea.

We had a wonderful time in Conca Dei Marini we stayed there with our in laws Vin and Camille from NY for 11 days. Such a quiet wonderful place to go for our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. The restaurant Le Bonta Del Capo was one of the best restaurants we ate at during the whole 3 weeks there in Italy. Restaurant owner Fiore was not only a fantastic chef he was so kind and helpful in every way. It was an experience of a lifetime. We hope to visit them again. Fiore was so excited because the last week we were there he made the listing being the top 10 #1 restaurant listing there in Conca Die Marini. Truly wonderful food, excellent service, good prices. The views are breathtaking the restaurant is above the Emerald Grotto…. the whole coast is spectacular. Congratulations Fiore you deserve it you are such a good example of a dedicated worker, father, and family guy.
It was great to meet you!!

I spent 11 day on the Amalfi Coast, specifically in Conca Dei Marini. And such a wonderful fall journey. Driving through the mountain roads was a challenge for a person who dislikes heights, but beyond that everything was spectacular. We rented the Casa Maggiolina giving us a wonderful view of the coastal area, the city of Amalfi and including Capri. Mrs. Mimma and her husband Peppe, the property managers, were more than the best. Upon arrival we found a delicious (home-made) apple cake waiting in the refrigerator. Everything was most amazing and magnificent. I want to thank them very much. And most SPECTACULAR of the entire stay was having our meals at La Bontà del Capo in Conca dei Marini, and meeting Chef Fiore. Ever meal was superb, from the sea food to the pasta and pizza. We were able to enjoy “Liquire al Limone” which was made in a factory just up the street where we lived. Also finding something we had never tasted before FINOCCHIETTO, also made by the same company in Conca dei Marini. After every meal Antonio offered us a refreshing aperitif of either liqueur. Not being idle, we took the Seti bus to coastal cities and a fabulous boat trip to Capri. On one very special occasion, Chef Fiore, asked us if we would accompany him when he collected fresh chestnut. So we road high into the mountain side to collect them. Chef Fiore, Antonio, and never to forget Rafaelle (and the rest of the staff) were the most accommodating host at the restaurant. My strongest recommendation to EVERYONE, while visising the area, NEVER forget to visit Conca Dei Marini and the La Bontà del Capo restaurant for the most superb meals in the area. (I must say they have better pizza than Napoli)

We ate here almost every evening we stayed in Conca dei Marine, at Ablergo Azurra. The food was very good (especially recommend the seafood pasta dish which is one of their specialities, though I don't recall it's name), the staff are very pleasant and responsive, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and fun. We were staying at a nearby hotel without a car, and the owner (Joni?) came and picked us up multiple times both to dine in, and for a simple take-out pizza and bottle of vino. She works her tail-off, as driver, manager, server, busing tables, etc. If we're ever in Amalfi Coast again, we'll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the food. Especially the mussels in spaghetti for an entree and the 7 flavour pasta (which only had 3 on the night but was still fab). Lovely staff, and nice to see lots of locals bring their families. It is very family friendly.

We were really disappointed there was no gelato at all, despite having it on the menu. It seemed like because it was end of season they weren't bothering anymore, which was tough on my gluten intolerant mum, she couldn't have anything!

Definitely worth a visit. Particularly with the free shuttle to and from our hotel in Conca Dei Marini.
