We had a lovely dinner in Savo with warm bread, fresh seafood and good house wine. The service was very friendly, portions were big and the prices reasonable. The marinated anchovies from the starters were really good and the fresh fish. I was not very happy with the desserts but they did offer complimentary selection of biscotti and chocolate that was delicious.

My wife and I ate here for lunch as a little day trip from Sorrento. The place had a warm environment and delicious food. We both ordered the sea bass and after he took our order, our waiter left the restaurant and 5 minute later came back with a fresh sea bass and said that he picked the best fish for us. So it was definitely the freshest fish possible, straight from the sea to our plates. Very well prepared. Highly recommend this place!

Booked a last minute dinner and were given a warm welcome! We ordered drinks and starter to begin and loved all. We had 2 pasta dishes and the oyster and between us thoroughly devoured with smiles on our face. Mama Carla’s son served us with great charm and his recommendations were excellent. We enjoyed 2 more pasta dishes perfectly cooked al dente and had 2 of the catch of the day...wow! They spoiled us with their home made lemonchello to finish.
We enjoyed the food & the service. Thank you!

Savo is a small, family-run (Mom, Pop, and two sons) restaurant right on the main square in Atrani. We had the most enjoyable meal of our time on the Amalfi Coast at Savo. We had dinner for six, and Momma Savo was very accommodating in setting a reservation for the same day. Reservations are a must as the restaurant is very small. The food was so good and fresh, and presented in a lovely manner. Portions were substantial; the six of us shared four appetizers, several pastas, and we each ordered a secondi. We also shared three lovely desserts. Momma and her son serving were great hosts. We had such a fun evening with them. It felt like we were guests in their home, and they shared in many laughs with us, even with our limited understanding of Italian. As wonderful and tasty as the food was, the evening was made even more enjoyable by the great service and atmosphere.

The two of us had a great lunch at this restaurant. We arrived just after 1pm (TIP: plenty of on street parking 50 meters past the restaurant) and our reserved table was waiting. We were warmly greeted by the owner, and the friendly service just got better from there. We had sauted mussels and mixed salad as starters. Then we had the Penne a candela with mussels, which had the most amazing sauce. We finished our meal with the grilled octopus. Throw in a couple of beers and bread, and we were pleasantly full. Add it all up and for a great meal we were out the door for 50 euros.
