Everything other reviewers have said is true! The photos aren’t exaggerating: the view is unreal. (We were in the Soleluna room, but there are only three rooms total, I think all with the same breathtaking view.) The weather in November was lovely enough to enjoy breakfast on the terrace every day, overlooking Atrani and the sea. The breakfast, which Maddalena brought every morning, was excellent, and the best we’ve had on our trip to Italy. Maddalena was a wonderful and gracious host!
We loved the location. Atrani is smaller and more intimate than neighboring Amalfi (a five-minute walk away), and a lovely escape from tourist crowds in the low season. It is true that many restaurants, etc are closed on the Amalfi Coast during the low season, but we still found plenty of things to see and do, particularly in Amalfi and Positano, and enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere.
It’s easy to access via Sita Bus from Salerno. And good WiFi!
This place is a treasure, and we would return in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend it highly enough.More
