“Nothing Like it!”

You cannot faulty this beautiful part of Italy, the room overlooked Atrani and the sea. Even in the winter it was fantastic. Pina was an excellent host to us and made us very welcome for the time we were there. We stayed in the blue room of his B&B with balcony views from both sides of the room. Nothing was too much trouble and he advised us where to go in the time we had, the bus trip to Sorrento is a must for the 1.5 hours of stunning views along the coast road.
Thanks again Pina and look forward to staying again soon.

Room Tip: The Blue Room is a must for the view alone.

We selected this hotel based on the numerous positive reviews on Tripadvisor. Our expectations were surpassed by the beauty of the views from the private terrace and the location (walking distance to the town of Amalfi through the pedestrian tunnels). Pino was a wonderful host and did his utmost to ensure that we had all the information that we needed regarding nearby attractions (many restaurants and shops were closed due to it being off-season and so his knowledge of the area was invaluable). Breakfast was delicious and included warm croissants with nutella and delicious coffee. The room was very romantic and the antique furniture quaint. The B&B only has two rooms so it was very cozy. We loved this place and would highly recommend it anyone who wants an authentic experience of the Amalfi coast.

Room Tip: Both rooms are beautiful but I had a preference for the "blue room" as it had views of two...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in early September for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights but a flight cancellation caused us to shorten our stay :( Luckily, the host Pino and his son Pasquale, who picked us up from the airport, were more than accomodating to our last minute schedule change. The B&B is in Atrani but the walk to Amalfi is just around the bend and takes about 5 minutes. The B&B is great because it is so quiet since it's not right in the middle of all the Amalfi traffic and hustle. We stayed in both the blue and yellow rooms and honestly loved them both. The blue room is located on the corner of the building so you get over a 180 degree view of the coastline. The decor is modern, chic, and inviting. The double doors which open onto the balcony provide an outstanding view of the ocean as you wake up in the morning and from naps after countless glasses of wine. The coffe and croissants in the morning were out of this world and we never saw or tasted any like it during our entire 2 week trip. Several nights we shared home made limoncello made by Pino and his wife either before we would head out for dinner or as a welcome home when we arrived back from dinner. Pino would often help us out by calling local restaurants for us to set up dinner reservations. He also had many fabulous suggestions of where to go. The hosts are truly some of the most honest and kindest people we have met and staying there really felt like home and safe. It was by far our favorite part of the trip! With such great hosts, location, and room rates you absolutely must stay here for your visit to the Amalfi Coast!

I stayed here for 3 nights in mid November, 1 night at La Scolgiera and the other 2 at Eva Rooms, just next door. Everything was wonderful - including the stunning view and breakfast on the terrace. Pino and Pina were great hosts and very accomodating with any requests and advice on walking in the area. This is a perfect location on the Amalfi Coast and I look forward to making it back here one day.

My husband and I spent five nights here for our honeymoon in October 2012 and couldn't have asked for more. The location, just five minutes from Amalfi, was perfect and the accommodation spotlessly clean. We stayed in the romantic blue room and loved having a pre-dinner drink on the balcony as the sun went down - the views are incredible. Pino and Pina are excellent hosts. They really helped us plan our itinerary along the Amalfi Coast and gave us maps, bus timetables and even mini packed lunches when we set out on long walks. Breakfast was amazing, too - homemade croissants and super-strong Italian coffee! Atrani itself is very cute and has some lovely restaurants (especially The Palm). I would have no hesitation recommending La Scogliera to anyone and can only dream of going back! All these excellent reviews are very well deserved.

We have been travelling for 2 months, driving from Scotland to Sicily and La Scogliera was the best of the many places we stayed. The accommodation is in the house of Pino and Pina, ,lovingly restored and we had the yellow room, effectively one wing of the house with a great view. We were initially welcomed by Marco and Pasquale, the adult twin sons who were visiting and this was typical of the warm, family atmosphere at La Scogliera. We arrived just before Pasquale was about to fly out of the country for his wedding but, despite the disruption, we were made welcome, in fact we felt that we were part of the family celebratons. The location is spectacular, the hosts are warm, interested and welcoming, the accommodation is very clean, comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. I cannot rate this place too highly: 6 out of 5.

What can I say? My husband and I recently returned from our 3 week holiday in Italy .. La Scogliera was by far the most nicest B&B we stayed in.. Pino, Pina and Marco (one of their twin sons) were truly amazing..right from the beginning of our email exchanges we were excited about visiting Atrani.. We actually changed the dates of our stay at other cities as we definitely wanted to stay with Pino and Pina ad they did not disappoint.. Pino is the most kind hearted person.. They waited for us at the bus stop, carried our luggage up the flight of stairs, gave us bus tickets to get to Ravello and shared their dinner with us..(Pina - thank you for the aubergine - I now make that in India and we think of you guys everytime we make it) One night we told Pino that we were thinking of doing the "Walk of the Gods"(which i think everyone visiting Amalfi should do) and the next morning he had a printout of it along with a map giving us directions..Pino, thank you soooooooooo much for everything..Pina has done such an awesome job with the interiors of the home..We stayed in the Yellow Room which had a nice balcony.. But if you can get the other room, i'd suggest that-not for anything else except that the balcony is larger and hence wider views.. The yellow room has its own corridor that takes you to the bathroom(which by the way is upto date and is very very beautifully furnished)
We also stayed at Ravello for one night with their son Marco.. Marco seems to be learning really quick from his dad :) There is this very funny competition between Father and Son..Marco actually drove us from Ravello to Atrani inspite of having a guest at his B&B because there was no convenient bus to take us back to Atrani from where we were leaving for Naples.. Thank you sooooo much Marco..

We are definitely looking at coming back..hopefully sometime soon.. :)

Lots of love, Hari and Chetna , Mumbai, India
