The experience was unforgettable, the view from our room was beautiful, you have a great and clean beach just downstairs and is easy to move around because is really close form the bus station and the port of ferries that connects Amalfi with every town. Great installation (air conditioner, wifi, minibar with courtesy drinks). Pino and Pina were so nice with us, gave us good information for moving around and gave us awesome breakfast!!! We recommend this hostel for everybody.
Recommendation: would be great if the owners could borrow a sun umbrella for the guests, because renting an umbrella in the beach is expensive (20 euro)

Room Tip: the blue room was awesome!

We (Swedish-German couple) loved staying at La Scogliera. From the "Blue Room" you have an amazing view over the bay, even from the shower you can watch the boats in the ocean.

Pina and Pino were welcoming us warmly and served warm croissants for breakfast. Only small obstacle is the parking situation. Better to come without car. Apart from that: Perfect!

Stayed here in December 2010 (so yes, a while ago), but I promised Pino (the owner) I would write a review and I meant it. I stayed here with my boyfriend, and we just loved it. The bed was super comfy, the room had a great balcony and view. Breakfast was lovely. Pino and his sons were the stars of this place though. They helped us find awesome places to eat, and answered any questions we had. Pino also did our washing, which was great as we had been roughing it for a few weeks.

The location is great too. Close to the town of Amalfi where all the buses are, maybe a 5 minute walk. Atrani is more of a fishing town rather than a tourist town (though we were there in December which isn't tourist season), so it kinda felt like 'real Italy'.

Overall, this guesthouse met all our expectations, and if you are going to the Amalfi coast please stay here!

Pino and Piña were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Blue Room which had magnificent sea views on both sides. Our balcony provided lovely views of the bay below where yachts and smaller craft were anchored. La Scogliera is well located with easy access to Atrani and Amalfi. Pino was very helpful and provided walkings maps of the area which we used to visit beautiful Ravello. The B&B is very well maintained and a pleasure to stay in.

But I try anyway.
Spent 3 wonderful days in the suite (myself, my daughter and two grandsons, 15 and 10)
Extremely friendly host and hostess and friendly cat.
Beautiful and very well equipped rooms - the suite is like having your own appartment - without the kitchen.
The view from the balcony is smashing and the beach is just a few minutes' walk away.
The host, Pino, gives very good advice on where to go, where to eat etc.
I envy all you people who are now planning to visit that wonderful spot.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at LaScogliera on our honeymoon in June 2012. We stayed in LaRondine with two balconies opening to the sea. The view was amazing and listening to the sea from the balcony is almost magical. Pino and Pina are very warm hearted and gracious hosts. Pino served breakfast of Italian coffee and warm croissants and he joined us for conversation and his local recommendations. He also loaned us two beach towels and provided us with one of his business cards so we obtained a discount on our beach chair rentals at the local beach. He also assisted us with arranging for transportation to the airport in Naples; his son Marco drove us to the airport in his car at 4:30AM!

Pino and Pina - Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We will be back someday, we promise!

Fondly,
Dale & Pamela

We recently stayed at La Scogliera Rooms and loved it. The sea was directly below us and sleeping and waking to the sound of lapping water was dreamy. I will always remember the smell of the 'cornetti' (croissants) warming in the morning. That delicious smell would waft throughout.

Both Pina and Pina were delightful and always obliging. It's a pity that we didn't have more than 3 nights here. Pino was so helpful and welcoming. He gave us a great map when we told him that we wanted to do the 'Sentieri degli Dei' ( Walk of the Gods). If you visit the Amalfi Coast, take the time to do the Walk of the Gods - it's spectacular and a lovely change from the busy
coast.

In our 4 weeks in Italy, La Scogliera Rooms was the best place we stayed at - the rooms, the tranquility, the warmth of Pino and Pina and the location. Forget Amalfi and experience the local Atrani instead. You won't be disappointed and you'll be glad that you'll be resting here rather than the chaotic, touristy . Leaving brought tears to my eyes. In a few short days, we had made special friends.
