We had a wonderful visit to the Amalfi Coast! We especially loved the village of Vietri sul Mar. Wonderful shops and restaurants. And the apartment was spacious, clean and beautiful! I loved the painted tile floors in each room and the big windows and doors that let the sunlight in. We enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning. Bianca was so helpful in sending information prior to our trip and Alberto was helpful in getting us checked in. We used the SITI bus up in the village to explore other towns on the coast and we also took a ferry from Salerno.
Thank you to Bianca for everything! We love your home and hope to return again some day soon.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Vietri Sul Mare. The apartment itself was very spacious and well looked after. We went as a family of 5, our boys are aged 14, 17 & 20 and there was plenty of space. The views were incredible, & while the weather was hot & sunny, the apartment remained cool and airy, with a lovely sea breeze. The apartment is very well located and in walking distance from everything you need. The charming town of Vietri is about 8-10 mins walk up the hill where there are some lovely resteraunts, little shops, a pharmacy, coffee shops etc. The beach is about a 8-10 minute walk down the hill. We went daily to the free local beach which was sandy and one of our favourite places. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area too. One of the days we caught a boat from the local beach to another beach along the coastline which we all enjoyed. Close to the local beach, there are a few more little shops, resteraunts and a wonderful Gelataria (Italian ice cream shop), which we found handy. We highly recommend Vietri Sul Mare and hope to visit again soon ourselves.
If you are looking for amazing place to stay during your summer holiday we definitely recommend!!! Spacious and cozy accomodation with amazing view. The town and locals are really pleasant with classic Italian atmosphere.
Bianca was really helpful and helped us to arrange very nice stay, helped us with advices and travel tips. Thanks
Hopefully we get chance to visit again :)
Stunning views across the Amalfi Coast to Salerno, this Appt. was a great base to discover the Amalfi coastline. The Appt. has a very large terrace great for evening dinning while watching the boats sail by and the Crimson Moon rising to wash the sea with colour. It is positioned high (so there are lots of stairs) but the views make it worth the effort. There was everything we could need in this specious Appt. and it was spotless. Thank you Bianca, we hope be return one day.
We stayed in June 2017 as a family of 4 adults and a one year-old baby. The house is fantastic, the beautiful photos don't even do it justice.
Vietri sul Mare is a great base for exploring the coastline or day trips to Pompeii etc. Some of the other villages (Amalfi, Positano) felt a bit hectic with tourists and Vietri felt more like the kind of place other Italians visit on holiday perhaps.
It was our first holiday with our baby and the space for her to crawl/walk around and of course the legendary Italian friendliness to kids made our stay hassle-free. Bianca had a lovely travel cot (with proper, thick cot mattress) made up for our baby so she could go straight for a nap after a long day travelling. It was a really nice touch.
The garage was great - parking would have been a real headache without it. We had an Opel Astra estate and it fitted no problem.
It doesn't have an air conditioning unit, but there were lots of good fans, which were perfect in June (it was 32°C one or two days). The windows and doors open onto the sea front so there is always a lovely breeze to keep the house cool.
The marina is an easy and safe 10 minute walk and has restaurants, ice cream and cocktail bars, a pharmacy and a small grocery. There are more restaurants, shops and fabulous ceramics shops in the village, which is a 10-15 minute walk up the hill.
There are 4 or 5 private beaches in Vietri and several stretches of free beach in between where you can bring an umbrella (there is one in the apartment) - a good alternative if you're just staying for an hour.
Overall, we can't fault a single thing - we had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house in a really wonderful part of Italy and we would return in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed a lovely stay in Biancas apartment. Booking process was great and we were met at station by Alberto. He was helpful and friendly even though he spoke only a little English. We were very impressed by the apartment and blown away by the terrace. Huge and a fabulous view. A little road runs between you and the sea. A few cars use in and the occasional bus but noise was not an issue.
Fridge was stocked with soft drinks water and beers a very nice touch. Apartment was clean and even had air conditioner..
Village was a walk up the hill. The restaurants were all very good and the local people very friendly. We were made to feel very welcome everywhere we went.. It was all very relaxing and a wonderful experience. Alberto passed us one morning and asked where we were going. He very kindly took us down to catch a boat to Capri. Would go definitely return some time in future.
