This is a family-owned and operated restaurant since 1920, in the heart of Salerno's famous ceramics district. The ambiance and cuisine are truly authentic. The outdoor dining area has a beautiful hanging wisteria growing overhead, and the floors, walls and brick oven are all made of the local pottery tiles. The food is made from the freshest ingredients, and the pizzas are done in the southern Italy style, which is thin crust. Some of the ingredients they used: fresh mozzarella (4 kinds), pancetta, zucchini flowers, fresh basil, garlic, fresh tomatoes, sautéed escarole, olives, etc. Excellent food for reasonable prices, and friendly owners and staff...definitely a must-visit!
