We went here in September with 3 kids, 7, 4 and 3 and they all absolutely loved this holiday. We booked here as we also got married on the premises and it was the best day of our lives. The hotel was amazing, the food was amazing and so were the staff. Our wedding planners were also absolutely amazing. I recommend the holiday village all the time. Shame to come home.

We were at the Holiday Village last week (got back home very early this morning) and my partner and I are extremely happy to write a positive review.

This resort is in a spectacular location with the sea about 10 minutes walk away, Rhodes town a 30 minute bus ride away and some spectacular views of the mountains. I'd highly recommend visiting Rhodes old town for the markets and a walk around the Grand Masters Palace.

The holiday village itself is extremely comfortable, clean and well presented. Everything from the lawns, paths, pools, restaurants, bars and rooms were very nice, clean and a pleasure to use.
There and several pools to choose from, a gym and Spa (very nice!), 2 a la carte restaurants (we could only get a reservation for one of them so make your booking early!), 1 buffet style restaurant and a couple of bars including a sports bar and an outside bar near the stage.

The main pool is very big with colour-changing lights and a bridged walkway going across it, this looks spectacular at night! We didn't really use the pool near our room however we spend a couple of days lounging by the pool side on the sun loungers.

The food at both the a la carte restaurant and the buffet style was excellent. The variety and quality of the food was sublime during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and the staff were helpful, attentive and very friendly. The bars followed the restaurants example with the wide drinks selection and friendly staff. There is also a snack bar in the main veranda behind reception serving food and drink during the day which can be taken back to the poolside.

We had a double room in the Activity section and we were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, and the quality of the furnishings. The bathroom was done to a very high standard and had both a shower cubicle and a deep bath. The rest of the room was much along the same high standard with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a/c, a big vanity table with a huge mirror and some very fancy lighting! The room then has patio door which open out onto a veranda (or balcony if you're in an upstairs room) with a table and chairs.

The entertainment during the day and evenings was mainly aimed at a younger audience however watching the shows during tea and the evening was a bit of light hearted fun. The staff in reception, the restaurant and the bars were all very nice and happy to help.

Overall we had a very nice stay and would happily return again soon.

Food decent ,rooms comfortable but not super clean and no point in having TV s in the room because all you can get is the news over and over again and you need something to cover up the loud entertainment noise that is on to midnight every night if you want to try and relax in your room.

This place is amazing!!!! I have just returned from a one week stay with my wife and 18 month old baby boy and i can honestly say it has left us wishing to return forever more (and we like to visit different places). I dont Know where to start............. But i will start with the hotels entertainment, which is great. The entertainment runs from early morning until late at night and covers all age ranges from 0-99 ;). Although we did not need to use 50% of all the facilities as our little boy was too young, we still appreciated everything that was on offer and can imagine how he would benefit so much in the future from all that this resort has to offer.
The rooms are immaculate, very lush and are cleaned every day.
The pools are all immaculate and perfect for all ages (all are cold but there is a heated outdoor pool and indoor heated pool for the little ones if needed).
The hotel reps and their entertainment are outstanding and they are obviously picked for their individual talents.
I would like to say how amazing the hotel staff were, they make every individual person feel so special with their warm and affectionate personalities.
And finally onto the food.......we loved it. There was so much choice and was different every night, it really was luxury cuisine and the deluxe area is supposedly even better.
We stayed in the activity area and after going to the deluxe side we were quite grateful that we did as it is not geared up for young kids and they all end up having to walk over to the activity side numerous times a day to get the kids into the action (well thats what we would have had to do anyway).
Please don't listen the negative reviews as these seem to be left by people who don't know how to have a good time in my honest opinion.

This is a european FIVE STAR RESORT without doubt and me writing this review is testament to that as its not something i would normally do but it really was worth taking this time to do.

All i can say is enjoy your time here and we are sooooooo envious that we are not there.

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a great time. The facilities were excellent, and plenty of pools and activities to chose from. The rooms were very clean. There was an excellent choose of food, and the waiters were super friendly.
Our little girl had a great time and we will definitely return

We have just returned from our first family holiday abroad and could not have picked a better place.
We chose the deluxe area and could not fault anything, the room was clean and had ample space even for 4 of us,bathroom was great with shower and seperate bath. The deluxe area was across the road( there is an underground walkway ) from the activity area and main part of the hotel,so was quieter but you did not feel as if it was a trek with the kids every day!!
We really enjoyed the restaurant which was only available to those in the deluxe area( although i think you can pay extra to eat there),it was obviously much quieter than the main restaurant but the food and selection were 1st class, as were the staff who were great from day one to our last day.We did eat in the main restaurant, the selection and food were very good, but not the place if you prefer a quieter meal time.I would agree with previous reviews that the Italian and Greek a la carte restaurants are unfortunately situated in the area where the night entertainment takes place, so it was rather noisy....but the food was excellent!!
The First Choice staff reps/entertainment team were great and they worked very hard to provide entertainment for all ages both day and night.
Location wise, it was very quiet, which we liked, but only 15mins walk from the beach and main area of the resort.
The local beach was mainly pebble but there is a sandy beach which is apparently very good although we did not get the chance to visit it.
Overall,a great place for a family holiday, accommodation, food and staff were excellent.

Room Tip: Deluxe family room, are what they say..better to stay in room from start 44 or 45 as they appear to g...
