We spent 12 nights in the Kassandra Family Aparthotel in the block E, which is adjacent to the restaurant bar and block. We arrived the week before Easter weekend and there were very few guests booked in at the hotel. It was clean, tidy, well maintained and the food at the restaurant/ bar was of a good standard. The season hadn't started properly so a lot of restaurants/shops were closed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The nearest beach is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is a great children's play area right next to the beach which is about a 15/20 minute walk from the hotel. A recently opened pizza and pasta restaurant (Tsapderona) had a really welcoming atmosphere and the food was great.

We travelled into Rhodes town every other day and explored the Old town, Palace of the Grand Master, walked around the medieval moat, took the city bus tour, watched the Rhodes marathon and live entertainment, and visited the aquarium. We ventured up to the Farmhouse pub, which had a miniture golf course, of the main road on the way to Rhodes.

Overall, we had a great time and it was a nice quiet location with Rhodes town only 15 minutes away by bus or taxi.

Don’t have too high expectations. Old rooms but with air conditioning, expensive wifi despite it being called free, and small pools. At least the restaurant has good food. It is a 5 minute walk away from the beach which is a plus. Fun karaoke nights.

Found this hotel to be much better than expected - had everything you need, 2 pools - entertainment - restaurant etc. Was close to all lalyssos has to offer and several restaurants / bars close by. Only bug bear was the Air con - same too small, in wrong place and 7 euro per night. On seeing same opted to purchase a fan from nearby supermarket - worked a treat, quite funny though when I was left a note asking me to bring fan to reception as bringing your own fan is not allowed (collect when checking out)!! obviously ignored said note and nothing further was said. Can recommend the restaurant good food at reasonable prices

Room tip: rooms spacious enough - if not happy with room location staff happy to relocate you if other rooms available

We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the rooms are old, but charming. Not to mention the delicious food that is served (at very reasonable prices!) in the restaurant.

For the price we payed we weren't expecting much to be honest, but from day one we were pleasantly surprised by this accomodation. When we arrived in the evening there were greek dancers and singers performing in the bar/restaurant area. Coming up to our room, we were very pleased with the spacious 1 bedroom appartment. As I expected from the reviews, the interior was a bit dated but everything we needed was there and it was all very clean.

The next day we did some groceries in the supermarket Pappou (10 min walk), as the one across the street was quite expensive. We also walked up to the beach (5 min walk) and took a swim in the lovely blue water.

The following days, we did a few excursions, but also enjoyed the swimming pools at the hotel, whilst drinking cheap cocktails from the bar!

One big minus for us was the fact that the gym was out of service and the spa didn't have clear opening times. Also, the people at the reception aren't very friendly or helpful. The other hotel staff makes up for this though!
