We had a great vacation at Sirene Beach. We lived 5 persons in the older part of the hotel with a room in two floors. This worked out pretty okay with 3 great beds on the top floor and a sofa bed on the ground floor with a fixed top madras. Not much space with the sofa bed but it works. There is a small kitchen but as this is All-inclusive we did not use that. The new part of the hotel with double rooms looked very nice. We lived on the ground floor with a great view over the ocean. There is a main road in front of the hotel with some noise. Aircon was included and worked fine. The cleaning of the room worked fine. We got new towels every day and the room was cleaned every day. The staff, from reception to cleaning, was very polite and helpful. Great pool area with a larger main pool, a smaller pool (up one level) and a kids pool. It was fine and with a full booked hotel it was never crowded. The pool bar served drinks, bier, soda and snacks/ice. All local stuff. The ice crème and bier was very good. The view from the pool area was very nice in all directions. The pool area was in many levels and there is a garden behind the pool so a great separation between the pool and the sun bed area. There is a gaming room with pool, air hokey and some other games. Not big but ok. The WIFI was not that great. In the lobby area you will get a good connection but not in the rooms. The All-inclusive restaurant (simple all-inclusive) was very good. Great food and with many choices. I really recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ocean view is great but you have a main road between the hotel and the beach. The rooms with pool/mountain view is more quite.

Sirene Beach was a good hotel. Very clean. Beds a bit hard, air conditioning worked well, food was good and plenty of it. Our room was at the back with no view and was noisy early mornings with deliveries etc, but preferred that to the noisy road at the front and music from the bar. Staff helpful and worked hard in the restaurant.Maids left flowers in our room when they saw my husbands birthday cards which was nice. Not much round about hotel but near enough Rhodes town - 8 euros from the taxi rank which was 5 minutes walk away. Beach was not kept clean - each hotel seems to have beds, brollies etc at their own part but if waste bins were provided there may be less rubbish left. Could do with spending some money on doing up the beach/promenade. All-in-all a nice week spent there and would go back.

Room Tip: Rear rooms overlooking car park noisy at times with deliveries, but mostly quiet

We stayed a week at the Sirene Beach on an all inclusive basis. The location is fine - just cross the road for the (stoney) beach, and a few minutes walk to a couple of small supermarkets, restaurants and the taxi rank. The hotel was very clean.

There were two main issues we found - first the food. On an all inclusive basis you need the food to vary from day to day, and it just doesn't. It is very bland, very samey, and very boring. We ended up eating out at least once most days in order to get a varied diet. The deserts in particular were dreadful, plus leaving out whole (uncut) fruit - most of which wasn't ripe - just isn't good enough.

The second issue was that it felt like the hotel was rather petty with it's rules. 'No taking food or drink from the restaurant' - but no bottled water in the fridges. 'No using hotel towels at the pool' - but then no pool towels available. We bought water at the local mini mart, as well as having to buy pool towels. They would do better to get rid of the petty rules and focus on guest comfort and convenience. The final straw was when we tried to put two tables together in the restaurant so that our party of 8 could eat together on the terrace. A member of staff came over and wagged her finger and actually tutted at us. Wow, that's a first for me with hotel staff. To be fair, once we asked via the restaurant manager, they did put tables together for us, but to wag a finger?!

Generally not a great hotel for kids either - the pool area is crowded with sun worshippers and loud music, the 'playroom' only has 'pay to play' games so nothing is free, and there isn't a kids play area or anything suitable for anything beyond toddlers. The bar has loud music in the evenings, including one memorable evening when they chose to play a song with a lot of swearing in it which all the adults sang along to at full volume. Not at all suitable for kids to hear.

Our duplex family room was ok - although strangely it had a hob and kitchen sink - but no equipment to use it. The fridge was handy. The upstairs beds got quite chilly with the air con, while those downstairs were quite sweaty as no air con down there....

In the main the staff were friendly and helpful - and those in the restaurant certainly worked hard keeping the plates cleared. The location was ok as a base for exploring - 8 euros (from the taxi rank) into Rhodes Old Town for example. I would recommend the taxis actually - walk up to the rank and they are very organised, safe and helpful there.

Room Tip: Sea view has road noise, rear view has pool noise. Not sure which is better!
