In the Old town and convenient for the port of sights. Quite run down, but good value for money. We actually booked for the wrong day (arrived I day early), but the Hotel owners were very helpful and sorted everything out for us. Rooms were clean and the Hotel was quiet despite the location.

The location of this hotel was very nice. It was quiet and had a beautiful view from the top balcony. The service was just terrible, for I was insulted. From the beginning we have arrived Nikki refused to pick us from Marine's gate after a long walk from the port because he failed to arrange a local pick up. We message him five times before we came to stay at that hotel to arrange a pick up. He never answered. So after getting lost several time to get to the hotel we asked a local to call Nikki's Hotel. He said that he needed to fix the "toilet". After much difficulty finding the hotel he continued to blame us for not having an arranged pick-up. He also stated that "its ok for my wife to hit me". Breakfast was satisfactory. Internet was inconsistent. On the website it claims that there was a pool, but none was in sight. Finally he refused to arrange a taxi to the airport and told us to find your own because he did not have a mobile phone. Overall he lied and blamed us for his mistakes.

The amazing views from both the side window and the balcony make up for the otherwise average decor and are worth dragging your bags upstairs (no lift). The rooms are spotlessly clean and more than adequate but quite expensive for what you get.

I paid extra to get the view and without that I doubt I would rate it so highly.

The owners are warm and the breakfast (included) is simple but adequate.

Room Tip: Not sure the rooms below would be worth it without the view. Also if you need reliable internet access you may be disappointed but at least you can access good wifi at Anakata Cafe across the road where I spent more time than in the room.

If you want bags of character in the Old Town - and in a nice quiet part of the old town, you can't do much better than Niki's. Yes, the decor and furnishings are dated but that is the appeal. You are taken back to a Greek pension of the 1970s. The owners are delightful people and provide a shuttle service to the airport. A very useful service in a hotel located in the alleys of the Old Town. Breakfast was typically Greek and served in a charming courtyard. A very pleasant experience.

This was just to be a stopover on our way back through Rhodes to Athens (and then home - boo hoo). Nevertheless, we opted for the most expensive room (still quite reasonable) for the view. It was worth it. The room was clean and nicely appointed and the proprietors sweet and helpful. They served a decent breakfast and, for a reasonable fee, provided us an accommodating ride to the airport. And, to make it all a little sweeter, there are three excellent, off the beaten path restaurants in shouting distance.
