We lunch it. We try coktail, tzaitsiki, chiken and so on. Very good food... not amazing but very good... the place is so nice... like caraibean pirates.... and the personals are so helpful and sympathic. Really not expensive... you must to try.

We were looking for a place with life Greek music and came across the Blue Lagoon bar/restaurant. It is very well decorated so it may be worth stopping just for a drink. However, I would not recommend eating at the restaurant. For our ten days stay in Greece, this restaurant offered the worst food. We ordered Musaka (typical Greek meal) and some grilled meat with french fries. The Beshamel sauce on the top of the Musaka was not well baked and the french fries were served under cooked. The service was extremely slow and we were constantly ignored by the waiters because we were sitting on the second floor and most of the other guests were on the first floor (first floor is a bar, second is a restaurant). After finishing with our dinner, we moved down to the first level, where we were promised to have a table booked for us - empty promises! We had to wait with our glasses until someone decides to leave. As a last point, the performance of the singer was very poor and I have heard much better Greek singers!

Definitely worth stopping in for a drink! Amazing what one can do with some creativity. Check out every nook and crannie. There is a lot of pirate detail.

This is the 2nd time being here in this fun place , food good but only had drinks first day , had Greek salad and pitta 2 nd day , it's a themed place based on Pirates of the Caribbean , it's a peaceful place in centre of new town , wish we had found it earlier , staff friendly . It's a sunny courtyard with a water feature keeping you feeling cool on a hot day. Great for taking young children too they have 2parrots running free not in a cage as someone said earlier , these are great features of this place ,try it either daytime or evenings when they have Greek dancing .
