I stayed at the Bel Air Beach Hotel as a solo traveller during August,2013 for two weeks in an all inclusive package.

From the moment I checked in I knew it was going to be a superb hotel and a fantastic holiday.

The hotel is spotless and offering a good sized pool and areas with plenty of sun loungers.I had a room at the front of the hotel with a sea view with a decent balcony.

All the staff are extremely pleasant from reception, pool bar staff, dining room staff to the two gentlemen serving at the foyer bar.

The pool bar opens from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm serving beer, ouzo, coffee, tea and fizzy drinks.
After 6:00 pm the main foyer opens serving beer, cocktails and spirits which closes at 11:00 pm.

The food selection is exceptional serving breakfast, lunch and an evening meal.lt is run on a buffett self-service basis and the dining room staff are efficient and friendly. The food is varied mostly of Greek style cooking. The evening meal is served from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Ixia itself is basically a long promenade consisting of bars and eateries, however,Rhodes town is a short taxi drive away. The tour company that I was with offered various tours throughout the island and were quite reasonably priced.

The Bel Air Beach Hotel sits on a very busy road so if you plan going to the beach opposite use extreme caution crossing the road as it gets busy from early morning to late at night.

Other facilities the hotel offers is a tennis court, ping pong, and a residents private garden.

The holiday was that good I wished I had booked for a month instead of two weeks.Needless To say I will be back next year. Finally, the all inclusive is fantastic and worth every penny.

Thumbs up to the Bel Air Beach Hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the BelAir, we had a beautiful spacious room with a perfect view of the sea. Every single member of staff continously greeted you with a hello and a smile, and that really makes all the difference. The food was really nice, lots of choice and changed every night. Only downside I would say was that, one of the barmen was moody all the time and made you feel a little unwelcome, and the all inclusive bar stopped at 11pm. But this really didn't dampen the holiday at all, highly recommend the BelAir!

Room Tip: Book in advance for sea view rooms

Two girls from Lithuania (me and my best friend) chose this hotel and we really liked it. Especially thanks for Belair's hospitality. The staff was friendly (particularly ladies of administration, restaurant boys and pool bar girls). Maids clean rooms every day, even they put shampoo, body lotion in bathroom, so you don't need to take yours, therefore you can save place in your luggage :). Food was delicious but had a little lack of variety. The view from our balcony was amazing, in horizon opens the sea, mountains and palm garden, mm :)
The time spent in Belair was unique, we definitely would go back here someday.

We stayed on August 3-10, 2013.

Ta xanaléme, Belair and Rhodes!

If you need entertainment and your children need to be entertained by someone dressed in a clowns suit do not go, otherwise I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was nice and plentiful, even though the resturant could get a little busy. Rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels everyday, air conditioning worked well and rooms were spaceious. Like some of the reviews mention the hotel is near a busy road but once our balcony doors were shut we could not hear it, it was also really easy to cross because most drivers would stop to let you cross. I would recommend that you hire a car we hired a medium sized car for 5 days costing 230 euros from the hire centre in the hotel after looking around, this was a standard price. Overall a very enjoyable 2 weeks spent at the Bel Air and i would go there again.

Thank you
