Just returned from 7 days all inclusive package.Good first impressions, nice hotel reception area with sofa's and there is also a bar here (although you have to pay for your drinks in this bar).We were quickly given the key to our room,we had booked a sea view room and were given a lovely spacious room which could sleep 4 (There were only two of us).Fridge in room also television which we never used.Room kept very clean, towels changed daily & lovely toiltries which were replenished when used.I think its worth paying a little extra for sea view as these may also be a better standard of room (poor reviews seem to be from people who had standard room).
Two outdoor pools & plenty of sunbeds even in the afternoon,we used the pool at the back of the hotel by the all inclusive bar, this served a good selection of local spirits beers and cocktails, (the bar staff in the evening were happy to make you up any cocktail,if they had the spirits for it). They also served very nice coffee, and hot choc. They provided food outside restaurant opening hours, which were nice, but think snacks not meals, they included, crossants ,pastry's,cakes, little filo cheese pies, sausage rolls, quiche, and little pizzas and cheese and tomato and cheese and ham open sandwiches.
Food in the restaurant was good and think you would be hard to please if you could not find something you liked to eat, breakfast very good and included fruits, yogurts, cereal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, cheese ,meats ,and danish pastrys. The restaurant was busy in the evening, although we never waited more than a couple of minutes to be seated.
We ate in the Italian restaurant twice, very nice food & lovely staff, chinese once,ok but once was enough.
The hotel is in a great location just a short walk to Rhodes old town and harbour.
Had a lovely holiday & would go back to this hotel, however this hotel may not be for you if you like entertainment at your hotel or have children who like childrens clubs.

Room Tip: well worth paying extra for sea view

Stayed here in September 2012. Had a good value all inclusive package from hotels4U and booked fligts separately. Don't book a transfer from the hotel - a taxi costs 22 Euros and no waiting about. We paid for a sea view and had a lovely spacious room . This was about our 5th AI holdiday and the choice of drinks at the AI bar was excellent and the bar staff very friendly. A good choice of food in the main restaurant but it does get very busy between 8 and 8.30 in the evening. Drinks are served at the table in the restaurant and can take a while to be served . We ate in the Italian twice - great pizzas and the chinese once (main course OK not impressed with starters or horrible dessert). All in all great value in a lovely setting.

Room Tip: Worth paying for a sea view as I think you get a better room overall

Stayed here for a week at the end of August on an all inclusive package, we arrived on the Saturday night at about 9.30pm, and was taken into the restaurant for something to eat. 1st impressions on arrival was very good, all staff were lovely and attentive thoughout our whole stay. I booked a sea view room, to which we checked into room 121, this did have a sea view, but unfortunately we also had a view of the restaurant ducts from the floor below. As we arrived late, we did stay in the room on the 1st night, in the morning i wasn't hapy with the view so asked if we could move to a higher floor. On which the staff did at once, we had breakfast, and our room was ready straight away, this time we were put on the 4th floor, room 464, excellent view this time of sea and pool. I would sugest if you do ask for a sea view, then you ask for floors 3,4 or 5, to be on the safe side. The hotel was more of a 4 star hotel, and not 5, we found the food to be of a good standard, the Italian restaurant was ok, didn't eat in the chinese restaurant. pool areas were good, only used the one at the back of the hotel. The all inclusive bar was good and the out door sitting area for this was lovely. Yes, the hotel could do with some maintence work, but then again if you look at most hotels, im sure they all need updating somewhere down the line. The location of the hotel was great, very close to the Old Town, which we all loved and really is must a visit or 2. Also another thing we did was to hire quad bikes for a few days, this was just fab as we got to see the island some places you wouldn't be able to get to. So a must if you want to explore what Rhodes is all about. All in all a very good time away.

Room Tip: Floors 3, 4 or 5 with sea view.

We took a family vacation to Rhodes last August. We thought we booked a nice 5 Star hotel, but little did we know this "5 Star Resort" is really the worst hotel of my life. The hotel staff were probably the WORST, MOST UN-FRIENDLY, LAZY people I have ever met. Don't bother asking them for help, because they will act like it is such a bother for them to help you, you wont want to ever ask for help again. The rooms were small, and very dirty. We booked a non-smoking room, but the smell of smoke was so strong, you would think someone in the room is smoking. TV was broken, and the beds were small and dirty. One of the beds was so dirty, we couldn't sleep in it. The Wi-Fi didn't work because it was always "Under-Construction". Just a bunch of lies by the unhelpful hotel, I'm sorry, motel staff. I would definitely not recommend it. Avoid this hotel.

stayed here 18/8/12 for 10 days all inclusive would say its a 4 star. room was lovely liked the air con and spacious room mini fridge and hair dryer tv was untuned and radio didnt work. would have beneifted from kettle in room. did not like carpet in the room balcony good. pools were ok the front pool being the best of them but the bar at the front was not part of all inclusive but you could go and get drinks from the all inclusive bar. reception staff were good and if you are going out its worth ordering the picnic basket as they were very good.
restaurant was more a school canteen you had to be seen to your tables and order your drinks from a waiter which was a bit hit n miss. there was a good choice of food although a little strange at times. the restaurant staff thought they were working in a 2 star michelin restaurant and were quiet stuck up to the point of rude. the chinese restaurant was great and although we didnt use the italian restaurant people who we spoke to enjoyed it. (u just prebook these the day before at reception) Beware the hotel photographers they will launch on you at breakfast and they are very expensive for what they do!!!
now then lets mention the entertainment!!! its pig awful one man one organ and i wish there was one powercut he was a definite greeks got talent not! the hotel would benefit from a pool table or two a darts board table tennis anything!! definetely take reading material with you as you will need it! there is nothing!! a few computers payable and a few 1980 computer games. the indoor pool was terrible and the gym sauna etc closed!!!
location = good not far to walk to the old town which is very interesting and enjoyable if you fancy a restaurant nearby deffo recommend the "Victoria" and save room for pudding yum x
trips out went to lindos on the captain mike loved it walked up the top of acropolis and its hot but fab. wear sensible footwear! if you take a picnic basket walk thru the beach find the donkeys walk up the hill 2 mins and there is a fantastic viewpoint benches to have you lunch although the donkeys will get excited for your apples. you can take a donkey we preferred to walk and it was well worth it. pop back on the boat early drop a bread roll in the sea and you will see the most amazing fish they almost fly! symi was another trip we went on should have checked on the size of the boat but was a ferry although the sofas in the aircon lounge were great! spent 3 hours in symi turned right around the corner headed to the man made beach paid a few euros for a sunbed and then snorkelled with bread like being in a fish tank!!! then back on the boat for a visit to monastry very interestin but very hot (an hour being enough!!!) altogether Loved rhodes the hotel was good regards to food but lack of entertainment bad swimming pools not brilliant and if you are taking children then deffo have goggles, cards and travel games you will need it!!!!

Room Tip: bit hit and miss ask for a seaview with a low floor? take a travel kettle if you like a cuppa in peace :-)
