This is the kind of place that you always will remember.
I did not expect much, and I went here with a open mind.

The hotel is next to the lovley beach, and close to the casino.
If you want to go party, the party street is close by and you can walk to everything, even to the old town of Rhodes or the Port in town.

The rooms are nice, they are clean and the food is great.
There is a different buffe every night and the breakfast is soo good with lots of fruit.

When you are done with the beach, you can always relax at the very small pool.
There is a nice bar next to it and you can also chill out in the front of the hotel having a frappe.

When in Rhodes we will come back, the setting, the location, the people all makes us want to return.

Try this hotel and I hope you like it as much as we did.

Room Tip: clean with a nice balcony

Location, location, location! This hotel has it all: across the street from the beach, 200 meters or less from the shops and a walking distance from the Old town of Rhodes.

Plus:
The hotel staff was alwasy kind and very efficient.
Good selection of food for all the meals.
Clean at all times and well air conditioned.
I have tried the hair salon and can only recommend it.
On the last day of our trip we left well after we checked out from our rooms. The staff provided us with towels and a shower, so we could still enjoy some swimming and sunbathing.

Minus
The rooms are a bit outdated but kept clean with all appliances working (tv, fridge, airconditioning).
The beds were too rigid.
No internet in the rooms.
Bring your own hair dryer, theirs are pretty much useless.

Family of 5 with three children 9, 13 and 15. The location is superb. Next to the beaches (one with waves and one ith silent water) and it's very pleasant with some wind during the summer. This is the best location if it's hot. You will always be cooled by the breeze.
The Ibiscus Hotel has the best breakfast buffet compared to Cactus Hotel and Aquarium Hotel. The Hotel bar has a nice terrace wtth nice sofas. The room is better than the other hotels, but You will spent the most time on the beach and in the restaurants so why bother if the rooms is more like three stars than four. Nice staff (except in the bar, rather dull) Short walk to Mandraki Harbour, the old town and the bar/disco street. You have to pay for internet. This schould not happen in 2011, but maybe it's better to go down and have a Mythos instead of surfing on the net. We had a pleasant stay.

Fast check in,we were given room 338 third floor over looking the plunge pool it was also like a concrete jungle, views were of other hotel's. We asked straight away if we could move room's the Manager said we would have to wait 2night's as the hotel was full, and like he promised they did move us to room 325 just across from the first room, but on a different side of hotel, much better view's of both beaches/sea.
Some part's of the hotel could do with a little TLC,but everywhere was clean.
All the staff are very nice.
We did find the food everyday only luke warm, also the water for morning tea.
We found the food to be a little hit and miss.?
You have to wait to be seated in the dinning room, again staff lovely, hand shake from the restaurant manager.
Men do not have to wear long trouser's at meal times in the restaurant.
Only couple of english channel's on the tele.
Free fridge, air con controlled in the room, safe hire 6euro for 1 week.
There were about 30 coat hangers.

Clean towels,and room's cleaned everyday,sheets changed,
Few toiletries in bathroom,
Hairdryer in dressing table draw,it is stuck in but does the job.
Our balcony was small with table and 2 chair's(PLASTIC)
No line on balcony to hang clothing out to dry could do with one really due to the location of our room it did get very windy.

Room Tip: don't ask for pool facing room big disappointment?.

This hotel was pleasant surprise to me! I ended up here, after the big disappointment I got from Semiramis Hotel & Blue Sky Hotel (also reviewed).

It was impossible to find empty rooms in a decent hotel in Rhodes, during the period I was there, and especially in the case of a last minute booking.

I called Ibiscus hotel and asked for a room. The staff was extremely helpful and they offered me their last room on the 5th floor (515) for a very good price. The room was at the side of the hotel, however the view was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. I was very pleased both with room and service.
