Description: For many years now the SOTIRAKIS family has been a passionate and faithful servant of Italian cuisine. This passion for the traditional Italian cuisine culture lead to the birth of CAPRICCI. We could say a lot of things, but we would rather emphasize the originality of the products and flavors in our pasta, as well as in our pizzas.

Just returned from our annual visit to Rhodes. Four visits to Capricci's - every visit a gastronomical delight. Food fresh, fragrant and every meal an absolute dream. A chef who personally visits every table to ensure diners are happy with their choice and his son who made everything truly special. You have to visit this restaurant !

First visit.
We reserved a window table just before sunset so we could view the sunset over the sea from our table - this did not disappoint.
Starter was a shared hot spicy salami bruscetta - it was delicious and served nice and hot.
For main courses I had pasta stuffed with salmon, cheese & herbs in a creamy tomato sauce and my girlfriend had pasta stuffed with porcini mushrooms, cheese and herbs in a more classical creamy cheesy sauce. Both were fantastic.
We had a a half litre of house wine, which was fruity and pleasant and only €5.50.
They had no problem either giving us a jug of tap water too.
Second visit, as we were heading back to the hotel we just popped in for a wine on their terrace as the wine here was nicer and cheaper than at our hotel.
Third visit penultimate night.
Same starter delivered as excellently as first time.
Main courses were pork in creamy pepper sauce and steak in a tomato sauce with pasta and salad. Again both great. I treated myself to a tiramasu - which good but not as exceptional as the rest of the food.
We were treated to a free limocello each and also a delicious creme brulee later whilst drinking wine on the terrace area.
The owner is a great chef. We asked him why a Greek was good at cooking Italian food and appears he lived there for several years when studying and in his early career and he still goes over each year for several food/cooking seminars.
The service was friendly.
I just hope with the main man being 60 (he doesn't look it) , he doesn't retire before I can go back. Just loved this place and the staff.

Ate here yesterday, after a short walk from the old town in Rodos. Was easy enough to find, the location is on the second floor with a great view of the sea. Inside the atmosphere is calm and easy.

The son of the owner kindly greated us and promptly presented the card and gave advice on dishes. When we ordered 2 starters, of which one the parma ham, he pointed out the other dish had parma ham and would bo good for two instead of purely trying to sell.

Food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious, our main course arrived slightly too early as we were just wrapping up the starter. Our main dishes were the lasagna and the ravioliono, such great tastes! We had a marvelous dinner and the son and owner walked around to very shortly tell their family heritage on how Capricci came to be (if you ask). Also quite appreciated the father coming by the tables to ask if the food was nice!

Would definitively recommend the restaurant to be part of any Rodos visit.
