“Had a lovely holiday at the Agla Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

We have just had a weeks stay at the Agla. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Paula on reception who took time to show us maps and give us directions, and also the smiley lady at breakfast who always remembered our room number and what we liked to drink with our breakfast. Our room was large and very clean, with cleaning done daily, sheets changed and always clean towels. We asked for a high room with a sea view and balcony and that's exactly what we got. Great location with a short walk to Rhodes Town, lots of places to eat and drink very close.

I have been a regular visitor to this hotel over many years. I came home yesterday after a 10 day visit, thinking that I should not have left it such a while since I was there last. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, The family run atmosphere made us feel very welcome. The room was large, clean and decor was pleasing. There was a comfy bed, sheets and towels clean every day, a large private balcony and a large modern bathroom. The air conditioning was effective and appreciated.
The bar and outside terrace was a lovely place to sit. There were plenty of sunbeds in and out of the shade, so we could move about accordingly. We could pop into the pool side shop for a drink or ice cream at any point. Prices were not exorbitant. We ate meals at the pool-side bar most days. They were good value, varied and served with a smile. The situation of the hotel, close to the beach and a short walk from the world class historic "Old Town" could not be more convenient for local restaurants, bars and historic sites.
Hard to pick out the best features as we liked it all. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax in the sun. Good for couples and families alike.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 5th floor and was a "superior room"

I have stayed at the Hotel Agla on many occassions and have always had a very enjoyable stay there. It is ideally situated in Rhodes town making the old town, beach and harbour easily accessible. This lovely family owned hotel is comfortable, spotlessly clean, with good facilities, the staff are excellent and the food is great. We always feel relaxed and at home here.

Just returned home from another very pleasant stay at Agla. Became a "friend of Rhodes", according to my certificate from the mayor of Rhodes :-). We always feel very at home because of all the friendly staff. Good hotel in excellent location. Agla is the place to be!

I stayed at Agla Hotel at end of May for one night and the following day on my return to U.K and have stayed here on a few occassions. As ever, the staff are so helpful and friendly, rooms are spotless and has a lovely pool with poolside snackbar. Breakfast has an extensive choice with smiling waitressess to welcome you! It is close to all the attractions and all within walking distance
I will definitely use this hotel again!

Room Tip: ask for a sea view

We liked a lot of this nice familyhotel in Rodos. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Food was great, rooms were clean and everything was excellent. We really can recommend this hotel. Special thanks for Luisa, Sofia and Tasos fo being so friendly and nice. If we ever come back to Rodos (and I think we will), we want to stay in Agla:). Varsinkin Luisalle todella paljon kiitoksia, olit kyllä varmasti mukavin tarjoilija ikinä.

We have been to the Agla a hotel few times and it cannot be faulted. It is a warm family run hotel and the staff seem to be part of it. A warm welcome at reception 24/7 and you will feel immediatlely at home. The accommodation is kept spotless by the cleaning staff, go down to the restuarant and be met by Sophia who cannot do enough for you along with Luisa who also works at the bar. The bar is run by Tasos who also does a great job. Serpa and paula(day shift) and Nikos (night shift) on reception are always on the ball. From Bob and Julie. Prestwick Scotland.
