My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel from 22nd - 29th June, on floor 5, a deluxe double with jacuzzi, bed and breakfast. First off I want to say that this hotel was well worth the money we had paid,

The good points are:

- The hotel is huge, clean and modern, exactly what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The rooms are large and cleaned twice a day (turn down service with chocolates provided!) We had a bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting for us on our arrival
- The bed is HUGE and so comfortable, its hard to get out of it to go to breakfast!
- The staff are all very helpful and friendly, sometimes too helpful when you are just trying to get on with getting your bags to the room and unpacking!
- All views are sea/pool views and from a high floor, the view really is spectacular
- The food made me literally speechless (and that takes a lot!) Although we were only bed and breakfast, the spread they put on each and every morning was phenomenal, anything from ice cream and waffles, to salad (weird but true), a full English or freshly made omelette with ingredients chosen by you. We ate dinner in the hotel once (€22 each, but this includes as much food as you want, inc desert) and it was beautiful.
- Food in the pool bar is also LOVELY, recommend the greek salad with pizza bread
- Only 15 minute bus ride to Rhodes Town, tickets are €1.70 for a single, or a taxi is €8. Rhodes town is stunning and the quality of food in most places is brilliant (sometimes a little bit expensive but its worth it)

Down-Side
- We are the kind of couple who like to venture out of the hotel during the evening for a meal and some drinks, the surrounding area is pretty much a strip of 4-5 star hotels, with most people staying all inclusive. Bars / Restaurants in Ixia are not of a high quality, so you need to 1. Eat in the hotel 2. Travel to Rhodes Town - this isnt a problem if you dont mind staying in the hotel, or travelling a short way to go to dinner
- The wifi, although a great bonus because it was free, was slightly unreliable so be careful with charges if you have your data switched on, the wifi doesnt always work

Tips:
- Go to Romios in Rhodes Town - Lovely place for couples, very romantic in the garden
- YOU MUST GO TO TAMAM, its the best restaurant in Rhodes, family run and decent prices, you get great service and sometimes a free desert.
- If you go to the beach across the road, you can get a voucher from reception so you don't have to pay
- If travelling from Europe, make sure your phone connects to a greek phone carrier i.e cosmote of wind greece, DO NOT let your phone connect to Turkcell, you have to pay ridiculous roaming charges because they are not part of the EU, but their masts are strong and pick up your phone!!

Really recommend this hotel, we had a great experience and we would consider going back, maybe all inclusive so we can put on lots of weight!!!!

we stayed in this hotel 22 of june for 1 week . We stayed in a deluxe room no 410 must say it was by far the best check in we have ever had all done and passports returned within 5 mins.We had booked this for our wedding anniversary going into our room there was a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine and on the bed which was huge there was a big red heart in the middle all in real red rose petals that was so nice, we had chocolates delivered every night when they came to see if you wanted more clean towells. The girls that greet you in the dinning room remembered our room number within 2 days, we cant fault any of the staff nothing was to much trouble and there is nothing you can fault with this hotel absolutly perfect would definatly return again

Great hotel, with many great features:
- GREAT breakfast buffet, even gluten free bread and pancakes.
- Great and polite service level all-over
- Nice rooms (Had a junior suite with personal pool)

But:
- WiFi was very unstable
- The hotel had booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport, but it didn´t show up. When checking in, we explained this, and all we got was a small apology. We were stranded in the airport for 30 minutes, looking for our booked taxi. This was a little bit confusing.

But all over a great hotel with great service, and the gluten free service at breakfast was very much appreciated. View from the better rooms are absolutely wonderful.

Me and my partner stayed here a week ago we booked a deluxe double room with side view but still unsure what room we actually got but fantastic views!. Overall we had an amazing holiday, the food was yummy and had lots to choose from and I thought the manager of the restaurant was very pleasant. But I am afraid there are a few negatives that made me feel that it just was not a top 5 star hotel....when we got our key card and opened the door to our room it certainly had the wow factor, but we noticed there were two single beds which we payed for a double rang down reception and they said there was nothing they could do about it ??? 5 star ??? as they were fully booked..but they did get a double mattress for us however. Also newly washed towels had a funny smell to them..wifi was very very slow..lack of sunbeds, many people getting up early to claim one..also we asked for extra milk one night they forgot the first time and next took over half hour..BUT DO NOT be put off by this I still think it was worth the money for the views, food and enjoyable and comfortable stay did not want to leave and never had I had such a better night sleep :) had an amazing holiday just a few improvements needed to claim that 5 star
