“Perfect Venue for a Wedding Reception”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2011

Myself and my now husband held our reception here and it couldn't have been more perfect. The family were ever welcoming and great fun. It was easy to organize and they could not do enough to make sure we were happy and our reception was personalized and beautiful! They were always flexible and accomodating and it seemed nothing was too much.

Everyone raved about the food and all night my guests kept saying how on earth did you find this place, it's amazing! The restaurant itself has an interesting history and it's very quaint, yet stylish. The view on the square is lovely from the terrace and it's an impressive sight as you walk up to it. Especially with a red carpet for me with lit candals and champers!! The atmosphere is wonderful and really calmed me down after the quite nerve racking event of getting married.

The location is romantic, and as you walk into old Rhodes with your guests (just a short 2min) people clap from the shops and surrounding restaurants. You can also add them on facebook for more pictures and details.

“Great restaurant full of history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2011

We found this restaurant after a long walk and didn't regret it. It is in a quite square and the second floor has a good view. A nice and friendly atmosphere and you can even ask for a bit of history of the place and the owner will tell you interesting details of the house. Their menu is good, the food was served quick and it was great. It is an interesting place if you want to organize you wedding meal.

“Fabulous restaurant in the old Rodos town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2011

There was no hard camarki sale (meaning that they were the only restaurant in the square that didnt tryto push you into the restaurant. when you look at the menu outside they will come over to you and politely explain to you what they offer. you are given a choice of where you want to sit, be that outside, or inside whereas in most restaurants you are given a seat. The staff are all very polite and friendly which makes you feels more comfortable in the restaurant. the service is quick and reliable. you are surved delicious food which is beautifully presented. and you arent cheated. our experience was we wanted a lobster, and the lobsters they had were different sizes. they asked us what size we wanted instead of giving us the smallest one and charging us for the larger size. the building itself is a 15th century building with lots character. it includes lots of decorations from that age and even has a tunnel underneath which you can see through a payne of glass in the floor. it costs a lot, but afterall you are paying for brilliance, for great food, and great service, and thats what your getting. overall there is fantastic; food, service, hospitality, and character of the building. what more do you need. Ohnestly, you must visit this restaurant, its the best in the old town of Rodos.

“Friendly and oblidging with good food at a reasonable price.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2011

A family run restaurant. Could not do enough to ensure we were fully satisfied. Typical Greek food, well presented and very tasty. We went back twice. Rhodes old town can be very expensive for food. This was value for money and better quality than most. Set in a 5th century Knights Templar's house. Has balcony seating which can be a bit windy but has a view of the square below.
Blue and white wooden chairs outside add atmosphere and look different from all the rest.

“Don't bother”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2011

I would not go to this restaurant. The food was medicore minus and the service was slow but it appears the owners see this restaurant as a tourist trap. They just inflated the bill as much as they could (we ordered one portion they charged us with four, they promised a child meal price but tried to charge for a full price) and only after discussing with the manager it was slighly reduced but still overpriced. There are much better restaurants in Rhodes and from our experience none of them let you feel you were cheated.
