“Typical Tourist Restaurant”

Having battled to get us to sit down for a drink we were then ignored for 10 minutes, then our drink order was taken then a further 10 minute wait. We didnt eat here as it was so touristy - we didnt fancy it,

“Greek food and charm in Rhodes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

This restaurant has a charming and ample outdoor sitting area, under big trees, and serves real good Greek cuisine. Both during the day, or during the night, this restaurant is surely a good recommendation, both because of the surroundings and beautiful location, as for the good food. Located in Rhodes capital, it is in the old town area, and very easy to reach, in an area where there are several nice restaurants to choose from. Service was very friendly, albeit sometimes a little slow, just like island living. Very recommended.

“Appearances can be deceiting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Extremely well located and with a nice atmodphere, this taverna is disappointing: the food is not so good and somehow pricey, there is too much noise from the live music, which is also lacking in taste. I wouldn't go there again.

“On all the tourist maps..but actually lived up to up!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

You know when you pick up the local map and the top 10 (sponsored) locations are all there in glossy colour? Usually puts me off, but we were with friends who know Rhodes Town well and we took their recommendation. Did not regret it. Largish size, great atmosphere downstairs which fronts on to a quiet alley (one of many for those who know Rhodes Town!). The upstairs garden area looked quieter. Service was excellent, good wine recommendations and sizing for appetiser choices (we always order too much usually...). The spit roasted meats were great (we had Lamb).Overall great place that delivered. Prices not the cheapest but still reasonable value...

“Romeos Garden Restaurant Rhodes Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2013

A wonderful restaurant, romantic under a huge tree decorated with lights and lamps. There is also an indoor side to the restaurant Staff are attentive and smiley. The ambiance is lovely, peaceful and relaxing. THE FOOD !! Fantastic garlic bread with dips and olives, feta and tomato. All for a euro per person. I had the catch of the day, sea bass, which was perfectly cooked, my husband had the moossaka which was flavoursome and a good portion. All in all it was a great dining experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
