I totally enjoyed my stay at Zacosta Villa. It's a very well renovated house in the old city, restored with great care by the owner, John. The rooms are nicely furnished, very clean and well-maintained, charming, with very nice, clean, tiled bathrooms in lovely colors. The courtyard is lovely, with comfortable seating and flowering plants and vines.

I found the hotel's location, in a small, quiet lane in the old part of town, to be excellent. It was only a short walk to the main shopping and restaurant areas, but far enough away to be tranquil and removed from the crowds and night life. John is a terrific host, providing excellent hospitality, information, resources, taxis, maps, restaurant recommendations, and a really sumptuous breakfast in the courtyard shaded by the umbrella. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh baked goods from the nearby Turkish bakery (try the lovely bugatsa if available), great cereals, fruit basket, fabulous Greek yogurt, honey, chilled mineral water, coffee and John's fantastic fresh-squeezed orange juice. This wonderful breakfast was actually my brunch, hearty enough to last until the evening. I really enjoyed eating this great breakfast in the courtyard.

The two upstairs rooms I stayed in are very pleasant and comfortable, I slept really well here. It was quiet and wonderfully cool with good air conditioning. The room fridge is very handy, and to my delight, it is kept stocked with complementary mineral water. The safe in the closets is one of the more spacious I've seen. I like the window shutters which can be closed to keep out heat and light during the day. The tiled bathrooms are clean, pleasant and well-appointed (the suite even has a spacious Jacuzzi). The energetic housekeeper keeps everything in excellent shape. The hotel also provides free wifi which was very convenient.

I loved my stay here and strongly recommend Zacosta Villa.

Our stay was even better then the trip advisor reviews suggested it might be. The hotel has been brilliantly restored, rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the hospitality is second to none. John is the perfect host. As the hotel is so small, you feel as if you have been welcomed into his home, without any of the disadvantages of being someone's guest! The courtyard, where we had the most delicious breakfast, is delightful and the hotel perfectly situated in the old town. The two smaller rooms are very good value and the larger room is particularly impressive, with a sitting area and coffee machine. Highly recommended.

We loved our visit to Villa Zacosta. John is very welcoming and highly knowledgable about the attractions of Rhodes. He goes above and beyond in service to his guests. He took very good care of us when we encountered a snafu with our ferry. The breakfasts were sumptuous and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. .

We stayed at the Zacosta villa Hotel 7-9 July, 2010 and it was far and away our favorite hotel. I has a fabulous location in the Old Town of Rhodes and close to all the historical sites. The hotel courtyard was an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the busy alleys. My 2 daughters (25 and 21) thought it was great too and could not stop raving about the comfort of the beds and the quality of the breakfast.. My wife and I had the suite with 4-poster bed, large bath with Jacuzzi, and fireplace. It was a very romantic room. John Pedilis was a wonderful, solicitous, and interesting host. John helped make our stay in Rhodes all the more memorable. I highly recommend the Zacosta Villa Hotel.

Can only agree with all the other reviews! Faboulous place in superb location in the old town. Excellent breakfast. Lovely clean rooms equipped with everything you could need. John was so helpful from our first e-mail enquiry until our sad farewell to the Zacosta. Could not praise John enough and will definately be back! Thanks for a lovely anniversary stay.

We just returned from our 3 week trip to Greece. Rhodes was our first stop and Zacosta far exceeded any expectations. All other accomodation on our trip didn't even compare to the level of service provided by John. From the delicious breakfast to the cozy slippers and robes no attention to detail is spared. The location is fantastic and we were able to see so much of the old town, it was awesome to stay within the walls. Whether we needed a bottle of wine, directions, a ride to the ferry or any area information, John would help out. The level of service is outstanding. If you are looking for a place to stay in Rhodes, look no further. This place is fabulous! Thank you for everything John!
