Not really sure why they choose the name Petit Palais. This is a quite large Med. resort.
I hotel has a nice location, quite close to the beach (windy side of Rhodes), shops and restaurants. A 5 - 10 min stroll to the harbor and about the same to the old city.
The room I had (211) might possibly be one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. No place to have my suitcase without blocking anything. But since I stayed in a single room it was no big issue. I peeked into some other rooms - and they looked quite spacious.
The room had a OK balcony facing the sea, sunset and with a nice ocean breeze.
The room did also have a fridge, a small tv - and a OK bathroom.
My main issue with this hotel is the limited space in the common areas. Both the restaurant, reception and pool areas where crowed. Also the WIFI in the reception area did not work for any practical purpose.
All the sunbeds where occupied by towels at nine. Most of the people did not arrive until a few hours later. If the management had followed up on their "Do not reserve" policy - there would probably be enough sunbeds.
The staff was really friendly - and together with the location they are the hotels biggest asset.
The food was on the better half of All Inclusive.
