Excellent food and service, I have never felt so welcome in a restaurant. I loved the lamb and tagliatelle pasta.

It's a small family run restaurant in Rhodes town. The atmosphere is just what you want from a restaurant. Well run, fantistic service in a jovial yet calm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is small and fills up quickly but for a very good reason. The food is incredible and at very reasonable prices. The house wine is gorgeous and the family that run this little gem are all amazing. Out of seven nights of our Bed and breakfast holiday we ate here three nights as we were disappointed when we went anywhere else. From 7pm there is always a queue waiting to get in-and with good reason. If you go to Rhodes and don't eat here you are crazy! We will definitely be coming back to Rhodes, if only to revisit Tamam.

We ate at Tamam tonight and felt at ease as soon as we sat down. The restaurant only seats 12 tables but we arrived at 7pm and were instantly seated. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by the family who run the restaurant. Hospitality was second to none, we were not left wanting upon any account. Although busy, the 4 daughters and additional colleague, and Father (who owns Tamam) spoke to us like old friends and were so so lovely. Food is served beautifully and the king prawns with ouzo and orange sauce is highly recommended.
10/10. You will not be disappointed.

Home cooked food at reasonable prices, sums up this eatery. We both had lamb, cooked to perfection, at 13 Euro's each and house wine which was superb. Overall the service was very good. The only drawback, the restaurant is situated on a back street with no view, so not as romantic as it could be. Overall recommended.

Had the most amazing meal this evening in this gem of a restaurant. Small and family run, you will get the feeling of warmth and friendliness from the minute you arrive, even if you have to queue as we did, because we were treated to a glass of sweet wine and regular checks from the hosts to assure us the wait wouldn't be too long.

Once inside, a little over 15 minutes later, the good service continued. We were extremely well looked after by several family members, all very nice and all obviously very proud of their restaurant and confident that whatever your choice from the extensive menu, it would be a good one. And our choices were. We had a beautiful meal. Very simple, but extremely tasty, all served in a relaxing and friendly environment. It was certainly the best meal I have had out on this holiday, and I have been carefully picking the best restaurants every night! And it was the most reasonable too - two excellent starters, two beautiful main courses, a dessert to share and drinks for €46 before a tip!!

I couldn't fault it. Honestly, I was really impressed. Go there and you won't be disappointed. If there's a better restaurant in Rhodes it would need to be something very special indeed! Loved it!
