This is a great hotel in a brilliant location right on the beach and close to main bars and restaurants, with very little traffic in the area. There are 3 bars with really good bar staff. It has the main restaurant and then an Italian, Mexican, Asian and Greek which need to be booked in advance and so I would suggest they are booked on arrival as very busy. The food was very good generally but I would point out that long trousers must be worn during the evening meal.
The hotel looks really good on arrival - first impressions etc, and does not disappoint when you go on in - great holiday and will certainly be back.

Room Tip: If you want a room with a smaller private pool outside your patio style doors, request rooms 2 to 22...

me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights at end of april before moving on to the mitsis grand hotel in rhodes town.
we stayed in room 53, private access to a 50 mtr pool, fantastic.
we found everything at this hotel to be 1st class (apart from evening entertainment).
best all inclusive hotel we have been to, veery clean, very friendly and they even stock up your mini bar every other day. no doubt that we will be back next year. enjoy.

Room Tip: if you like swimming and peace and quiet go for bottom floor at the rear of the hotel, not much of a...

My husband and I have just returned from a brilliant weeks holiday here. When we first arrived there was a little hiccup with our booking and the superior room we had booked was not available. We were taken to the new 5* Mitsis Alila resort and Spa hotel (4km away) to stay for the for the night. The next morning after breakfast when our room was ready we were collected by car and taken back to the hotel to check into our room. The room (77) was fabulous, very clean, decent size and had direct entry to a swimming pool from the patio area. Clean towels everyday, good quality toiletries supplied and the beds were changed twice in the week.

ALL the staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. The Mitsis chain and hotel Manager should be very proud of them!!

The food in the buffet restaurant was good although sometimes it was not hot just warm. We only ate in the Greek restaurant and I can highly recommend it. The reason why we never ate in any of the other restaurants was because we were not aware that on arrival you could book the restaurants for the week ahead. We thought it had to be done the day before!!! Never a problem for a sunbed there are hundreds of them!! I thought it was a bit pricey to hire the beach towels 20 euros (not sure if it was refundable we had our own beach towels). You also had to pay for sunbeds on the beach 4 euros each. We just used to get a sunbed in the garden area of the hotel next to the gate to the beach. The location is fab, 3 minute walk to bar street, the bus stop for Rhodes town was just outside the hotel entrance and the bus stop for Lindos was approx. 5 minutes walk.
The only NEGATIVE were the Russians who probably made up 85% of the guests. They were rude, arrogant, noisy and do not know how to queue! It was a nightmare in the buffet restaurant, you would be in a very slow moving queue getting your food and the reason why it was slow was because the Russian guests (adults and children alike) were just pushing in at the front of the queue where the meat, eggs etc. were being cooked to order. After a few days I just used to do the same if you didn't by the time you got to the front of the queue the rest of the food on your plate was cold!! PLEASE do not let this put you off, just do what they do!!

I cannot wait to go back.

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the block on the opposite side to the restaurant (ours was 77), the rooms on th...

No real faults! The hotel was stylish, clean and all the staff were very friendly. The animation/entertainment team were the highlight of the week. They entertained us all week but gave us space if we wanted to chill. Lots of activities for adults and children. How do they keep that energy up day and night!
Our room was cleaned and beds made up every day. The main restaurant had a great selection of food. Great salads and meats. The a-la-carte restaurants were tasty too(sushi was the best) great service.
Superb staff and hotel.Thank you

Me and my partner stayed for a week AI - You could not fault this hotel, the staff work very hard and clean form morning to night, the rooms were great size and so clean. We arrived late and it took minutes to get checked in and in the room. The food in the main resturant was OK, a bit cold somethings but always something for you to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The other 5 restraunts were really fantasic apart form the Greek, it was a little disapponting and we didn't get to 2 of them as 150 polish came on the Friday to the Monday and booked them all up, but they are great bunch of people.
It was almost 95% Russain and they tend to stick to there own and don't really mingle with the other guests, but reading some reviews I thought Oh god here we go they will jump Q's be pushy but they didn't they just stuck to there own and that was fine.
The drink was great and flowing all day until 1pm and the bar staff are great, miss them already and not just because of the drink lol. The entertainment staff are really great and big thank you and HI to you all enjoyed the darts. The hotel was great but the only thing was Faliraki itself, what can I say, well it was out of season and a lot and I mean a lot of the shops, bars etc were not open yet it was like a ghost town apart from bar street, needs a little TLC but by the end of the week just as we were leaving I couldn't believe the change, they had cleaned the beach up and put out the sunbeds. this wasn't the case when we were there im afraid. The Ent. was good cause the girl's won against the boys yes I mean me lol nice bottle of sparkling wine went down a treat yummy.
And of course a big Hi and thank you to Claire and Pauline - sorry about the phone (you know what Im talking about Pauline lol) They made our holiday thank you.
Greece itself is amazing, the people are so nice and friendly. The hotel it great to catch a bus to Rhodes, Lindos and car hire is a must such a fantastic place and places to see. The people are sooooooooooo nice, just learn a little bit of Greek like good mlorning, afternoon and good night and thank you and it goes a long way. Rhodes was amazing beautiful town, LIndos again beautiful but I wouldn't get on a Donkey as they looked so sad :( So I had to walk all the way up to the castle very nice great views (be careful tho I got sunstroke it's hotter then you think) I would go back in a heart beat. The only thing about going out of season was there were no boat trips etc. that we would nomally do on holiday but again it was out of season so our fault really, Can't blame Greece for that one lol.
Went to Turkey last year (see my review last July 2012 - Blue Bay Classic, Marmaris) I wanted to come home after 4 days I hated it (not the friends we made at that hotel they were the only good thing about it), the poeple are so rude and pushy so to have a relaxing holiday as this one was down to the staff the people and the friends we made I didn't want to leave. So to sum up I would stay at this hotel in a heart beat I love Greece and if you have never been please give it ago you won't be disappointed, and if you do say Hi to everyone for me.

This hotel have a very good place in Faliraki but depands of position of room zou have mazbe problems with noise.
Very good food but restoran is little and its crowded all the time. Beside main restoran there is 5 more restorans with all inclusive and food is also very good. Not very good thing that you must pay for the sunbeds. Pools are very good and children have one slide. Hotel is renovated lately and thats is best thing.

Loved this hotel - service fab, hotel fab, food fab, lots of choice & the speciality restraunts made it for me - felt like i should have paid 4/5 courses in the speciality restraunts all lovely. There were no beds on beach but it was start of season. Rooms cleaned everyday.

It is near "the strip" but this is not the booming falaraki like it used to be..on arrival or next day i would try & get booked in all the restraunts lunch or evening as they are not very big. Would defo go back best Mitsis so far for the money - drinks better than Norida Beach i.e real orange juice instead of weak coloured water & wine red & wine lovely.

No complaints - although lots of russians but didnt come into contact with any rude ones this year.

Room Tip: ask for room no's 50-80 you have a private swim up pool.
