It is a pretty bad service, arrogant owner.
We got a room out side of the hotel (in this case the room should be better than the categorie of the hotel or equal plus you ought to compromise your guests), but there were no compromisation, even it was terrible to move on next day, after they were shouted on us... unable to handle the compaints... our hole holiday was pretty bad due to this case... as a hotel professional, i am on the way of thinking none of the hotels could afford themselves this behavour even the visitors are young or not

Room Tip: do not choose this hotel

Me and my friends stayed at the Evi Hotel for one week. We booked the hotel because it was cheap and drinks and food were all included. The room was ok, it was standard but fine, the swimming pool area is nice. The food isn't that bad and the drinks you can basically get as many as you want at a time and they love to just pour as much alcohol as they can into your drink (not complaining). It's close to the bars and night life which when we went were a bit dead, but when your drunk who cares! After reading awful reviews we did expect the worse from this Hotel, but it pleasantly surprised us!

We did read this and it did put us off but we had already booked it so we went with mixed thoughts. we thought turning up at stupid o clock in the morning that wed have to stay in the lobby but luckily someone was up waiting for us showed us to our room!, people have said they are small but there not there a decent size for 2 people, the pool was massive but if you do want a sub bed then you do need to put your towel out the night before, the staff was lovely worked very hard, after every meal they cleaned all the chairs floors everything worked very hard, drinks are very stong and dont know the meaning of wanting it abit weaker! but im not complaining we didnt like the food but thats just because were fussy! i spoke to other couples and they loved it, its close to the beach and not far from the bar street, its in a very good location, we deffiantly would go back, but we found if your english you did get put in the basement so i would be asked to move!! other than that we really enjoyed it!

this hotel was a lot better than we expected after reading the reviews!
its definitely not 5* but for the price, thats not what we were expecting. if your're after a party holiday then its fine. we had 2 twin rooms, they were basic, but clean and nice enough. air con was free, which was good as it was about 40 degrees most of the time! we were in a basement type room, which was where they seemed to shove all the english. we did find a dog in our room one night!! but that was probably out own fault as we left the door open for 5 mins while we were in our friends room.

the food is okay. theres always something to eat, even if it was a bit repetitive. drinks were good. perfect for getting drunk before we went to bar and club street! people have said the staff seem to dislike the english, we found it was the other way round, the bar staff & class collectors were really friendly & tried to get us to go to their bars on bar street afterwards!

theres not that many english people, but we managed to find a couple of other groups after a day or 2 and stayed with them for the rest of the holiday.

only downside is the security guard! he was horrible. he tried to have us thrown out of the hotel because one of my friends pushed another in the pool. and for being noisy, drunk etc at the bar. even though we werent causing any trouble. its like they dont expect young people to come to faliraki, even though its known as a party place.

overall, the bad reviews must be from people who were expecting a 5 star hotel! would definitely reccomend it for a cheap party holiday. as long as you avoid the security guard

Have just returned from a week at the evi hotel. Would def recommend it. The food was lovely and a lot of choice. Am so surprised to see bad reviews on here with food. The only negative point I can say is the room was very small and cramped but it was so cheap so can't really complain. I've read reviews that the staff were miserable we'll if you were to work in that heat you'd look miserable too. Staff worked very hard ok they weren't overly friendly but give them a break ! Location excellent ten min walk to beach about five to ten min walk to main street. I will def stay here again

after having to change rooms on arrival next room basic but clean. the food in restaurant was repetetive but always something to eat nice salads though staff very friendly couldn,t do enough for you any problems sorted it straigght away the pool was very big just not enough sun beds had to be up early to get one or put your towels out a night. the rooms were cleaned daily fresh towels every day bedding every 3 days free aircon in rooms worked but not very good but there again it was very hot while there frigde in room so always had cold water to drink. overall not a bad hotel considering its a 3 star good location 10 minute walk to beach 20 minutes to town centre possibily would stay again.

Room Tip: ask for one in main hotel but not at front can be noisey at night kareoke bar across road

Stayed here in July this year with my wife. Bare in mind I have been visiting Faliraki 2 or three times a year since 2003 and never missed a year, so i know my hotels in this place.
Firstly, this Hotel is not 4* as advertised. The room pictures you see are for the Family Rooms, not the rooms everybody else stays in. Secondly. You will be placed in one of seven sets of apartments when you arrive. We actually stayed across the road in the Saint Amon rooms which are far better than the hotel rooms ( we were actually shown round the rooms of the hotel).
The food is?. Yes I know that people have said in some reviews there is always something to eat, but, I have been to other 3* star hotels that cater for ALL nationalities in Faliraki. There is not much choice, as most dishes are the same, except they cook it in a different sauce. If you like salad, ham, boiled eggs for breakfast then 'crak-on'. They seem to be catering for the eastern Europeans more that the english, as they seem to arrive on a daily basis. If you want a sunbed make sure you leave your towels on the bed over night, as all the other guests do, otherwise set your alarm for 3am in the mornin. The pool is quite large with plenty of space, just not enough beds. It is about 10-15 mins walk to bar & club street or the main beach, but you can catch the little train outside the hotel. If you want a decent meal, pop across the road to the Saint Amon, where you will be made very welcome. Would i stay here again, answer NO. Across the road, yes without a shadow of doubt.

Room Tip: Ask to stay in the rooms across the road in the Saint Amon block.
