“For the Greece! =)”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

It was the first time we decided to visit Greece. We did not choose the hotel ourself. We have agreed on the option proposed by the travel agency.
We came home, saw photos, read reviews in English (in Russian have not found one) - we enjoyed it, we decided to go.

So, all in order.

1. Location

The hotel is located in the town of Faliraki. The road from the airport to the hotel by bus takes about half an hour. The hotel itself is not very big, but very cozy. It is located on a hill in an olive grove. The hosts of the hotel is a couple, Mike and Mika. They are very friendly and welcoming, great met, advise where to go, what to see, and explained where everything is. Both are very good command of the English language. If you need anything, you can always turn to them for help or advice.
The hotel location is very successful - the supermarket is in a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, shops, clubs, cafes - 10 minutes, and the beach - a 15-minutes (Rhodes beaches are municipal, so be prepared to pay for sunbeds - € 4 for the whole day).
Also nearby supermarket and there are bus stops, from which you can go to Rhodes in one direction, and in Lindos - in another. Both paths take about 30 minutes.

2. Conveniences and entertainment.

The small hotel has a rather big pool that is almost always free. Lack of sun loungers around the pool will never happen. The area also allows guests not to interfere each other - everyone can find a cozy corner.
Next to the pool - a comfortable terrace where guests can enjoy a cup of morning coffee and breakfast.
There is a bar where you will be offered a variety of drinks. The outdoor terrace has a large TV, which even has one Russian channel! =)
There is also a pool table, a computer corner and wi-fi in all public areas.
In our view, the hotel is rather multipurpose: the youth and married couples and couples with children will be comfortable.

3. Rooms

Rooms are rather big, but cozy. Everywhere is very clean, cleaned every day. Room is equipped with a small kitchen: fridge, stove, washer and steam cabinets with dishes. Each room has a balcony with a table and chairs. If desired, you can take air conditioning, fairly cheap - about €6 per day. But the climate of Rhodes is quite soft, and personally, we did not need air conditioning.

We have traveled in many places, and in Europe, and beyond, but Greece conquered us with their hospitality! It is unobtrusive, but so beautiful that you feel as if resting in a large and happy family… Mike and Mick, thank you very much for a great rest! =)

Evita is a family run apartments and studios complex just outside the busy report of Faliraki, Rhodes. All local amenities like the ab supermarket, faliraki beach, and the bars and restaurants of the resort centre are in easy walking distance, and the hotel staff are happy to explain where to go for anything you could want.

Mike, Mika and the rest of the family are always around the complex and more than willing to help with any problems, whether that be getting a taxi or for extra towels. Nothing is too much. Travelling in a group of three girls in our twenties, this was brilliant for us and made us feel very welcome and safe during our stay.

There is a bus to Rhodes town that runs regularly through the day and is definitely worth a visit.

The rooms are basic, but have everything you need including a kitchenette complete with pans, plates, etc if you do want to cook for yourself. However, if not, Mika and her daughter are great cooks and cook wonderful food fresh everyday at very reasonable prices. The bathroom is clean and well maintained, with a very good shower, and fresh sheets and towels provided everyday.

The pool at the studios is clean, pretty and relaxing. The girls and I spent lots of time here as we enjoyed the atmosphere so much and enjoyed the company of our hosts.

We had a wonderful holiday at Evita and it was the perfect balance of relaxing and being able to go out to party on the famous faliraki strip. However, the hotel is located far enough away from bar street that location is a quiet escape for those times you want to have a quiet night in the pool bar.

I'm sure that we will be returning again next summer because we have made some fantastic friends here in Mike, Mika and the family and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a relaxing get away in a homely environment.

Fantastic holiday, Miki and Mike are excellent hosts they make you feel very welcome. I have spent two holidays at evita and hope to spend many more. The apartments are basic , very clean the food at the bar is excellent and the price is good. The apartments were very quite there was a good cross of people. I feel the address of Faliraki will put people off , the apartments are well out of the night life in superb countryside. If you want the action it is within easy walking distance.

First girls holiday Faliraki July 2012!! Could'nt have asked to meet nicer people Mike and Mika
couldnt be more helpful these are the owners of the hotel. the food was standard but nice the burgers are just what you need with an hangover!:) the price of the food was avarage we always ate from the bar instead of out it couldnt be faulted.. The rooms could'nt get more basic. we got clean bedding and towels every day, theres not alot of catering you can do as the kitchen area has realy nothing and our sink tap did'nt work but they brought up our food to our rooms if we asked aswell as our drinks!. As the appartments are only small alot of other guest there ended up being apart of our holiday. The apartment is a fair walk around 20minutes from the clubs however, a taxi costs 5euros wich isnt bad. I would deffinatley reccomend this hotel if it's your first holiday!!! just add; on arrival the rep will get you in to buying an 80 euro package for free entry in to clubs and free drinks massive rip off!!! also make sure you do the mega beach party .. Amazing!!

First of all i will say that we were a group of four 18 year old girls on our first holiday and i didnt know what to expect. However, on arrival we were suprised to see how beautiful the front of our hotel was. The pool is lit up at night and looks amazing and the general atmosphere of the hotel is calm and very welcoming.
The beds are fairly hard but from looking at many greek reviews it seems this is a standard thing and i cant say i lost sleep because of it, however it may be a problem for those who are temperamental sleepers.
There were little supply of cups but the staff were so helpful im sure if we had asked they would be happy to have helped. The fridge didnt feel that cold but honestly its probably cheaper and a lot lot easier to eat out. i wouldnt say the place was very equipt for self catering then again, we never tried.
The hotel food, i found, amazing. We ate out on the first night but discovered the hotels food the next morning and because of lack of funds for food and also because of its amazing standard ate there for the rest of the week. I bought a cheese and ham toastie daily and just for 3.50 euros which i thought was good. Their portion sizes are also not to be faulted as they were huge and no matter how hungry i was i could barely finish and all for 4euros. The greek salad tgey made for like 5 euros was better than the one in town for 8.
The drinks there are expensive however. eg a can of fanta is 3.5euro in the hotel but 50c at the supermarket.
I think it has been mentioned before but the shower room is not the best and is why i gave 4/5.-The light in there is poor, its a small room, the shower has no hook above you so you have to hold it and the shower bowl floods very easily after one shower which is a huge problem with FOUR GIRLS. However we found a pool shower downstairs and washed successfully down there everyday.
The pool was lovely, there are hotel lilos to use so nothing to fault there.
The whole place is clean we only got new towels half way through but this wasnt a problem however the towels were tiny. The place is quiet, even when outside (no annoying drunks)
Location - the walks felt pleasantly short and beautiful with it being 5 minutes to the supermarket and then not that much longer to the main street which you can practically see when at the supermarket. You dont even need a torch. However to get to the supermarket you need to cross a busy road which was a bit scary. There are traffic lights, but they are a fair way along opposite the main street (bar/club street) so trips to the supermarket couldnt be done without a bit of timing and some jogging across this road. It was fine though just a concern for families with young children i would say.
Drinks in clubs are 5euro for anything however dance on the bar and you may get a free fishowl? and the drinks over there are so strong that you dont need much. There are also two bars which do 'all you can drink' (in an hour) for 10euros if you forget to pre drink.
GO TO THE FOAM PARTY AT CLUB 'BED'. IT WAS AMAZING. NOTHING BUT CRAZY
To sum up, I had an amazing holiday thanks to Evita.

Firstly, Mika and Mick (owners) were absolutely lovely, we only had to ask and they gave, we had meals especially made, as most of us are veggies, her cooking was beautiful, she gave us info re taxi, to airport or just local stuff. There are dogs and cats roaming but not usually around the aparment area, the dogs are owned by her cousin, who live across the road and they were very friendly and enjoyed coming across to see ppland have some attention, they weren't scrounging for food as they were all fed and looked after well. I am sure they stay well clear when busy season anyway, I would, the cats were not a bother either, they stayed away, as stray cats do, I'm an animal lover so it didn't bother me, they looked ok too, but they did fight! they prob helped themselves to the dogs dinners too. We were four girls in our late 20's and 30's in a two bed apartment, which had a non draining bathroom, no usable cooking facilities, but a working fridge, it could have been cleaner but we took antibacterial wipes and cleaned everything, towels are rough and too small, but ask Mika and she will replace them with large ones, nothing was any trouble to make us feel welcome. The sun beds are broken in places but you can still use them if not too heavy! It is a place that I would return to as I know what I would be getting, it was a cheap holiday £222 for a week, which included flying with Strategic Airlines, so all in all was a good deal. I would defo go back and see Mika and Mick as they are such lovely ppl. If you don't mind camping facilities then you will be fine here, if you don't like roughing it (so to speak) then you'll probably be dissappointed. September is a good time as we had the pool to ourselves most of the week. Good location away from Faliraki town, no noise from the town or neughbours, but near enough to walk to the restaurants or get a taxi 7 euros on way out 2e charge for call out and 5e on way home, I would advise to get taxi home. The bus to Rhodes is 2.20e which is a good trip but they don't stick to times.

Room Tip: I guess the rooms would be quieter away from the poolside, we paid 50e for the week to have air con...

I don't usually write reviews, but just before I arrived and read some on here I was kind of dreading the place. But once we pulled up outside I was pretty shocked. The guy, Mike, at the front desk was lovely and really made us girls feel really invited.

I wouldn't really recommend the hotel for older people, in fact Faliraki in general isn't really a place for older people.

Do expect people to be coming in at times during the night, music being played but nothing to be too put off about. I went with a couple of girls and we felt so welcomed. The owners are lovely. Food is resonably priced too. The only thing I would advise is to take your own wash towel. The ones provided don't exactly do the job, too small and if you are sharing with mates then you will find yourself running to hide parts that are not meant to be seen.

The walk from the hotel to Bar and Club street is about 10-15 minutes and doesn't take long. The beach is at the bottom of Bar Street so about an extra 5 minutes. A cab costs 7 euros when you call out from the hotel, a 2 euro charge for call out, to get to the beach.

A great place for the £300 we paid for the week. Please do not expect 5* for a 2* price. If you want a great time with relaxed people please try this place out.
