“I'd visit Rhodes again jus to visit jonny be good at Aruba bar”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

We were on a two week holiday in Rhodes for a friends wedding we found this pub at the end of a night out.
Johnny was an excellent host then and we visited his pub everyday for the rest of the two weeks.
We were constantly fed and watered an Johnny joined us most of the time too and made us very welcome.
He also advised of things to do an go see and arranged taxis for us.
Definitely went the extra mile
Would recommend everyone visit here and u won't go any further!
Thanks Johnny!

“Cafe Aruba, A welcome like nothing you have had before”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

So of all the bars and cafe's to pop into for a spot of light cool afternoon refreshment! Well it was quiet the sign said it was free Internet and cold beer, what more could you ask for!! Well quite a lot really, but we didn't ask for it we were given it. Yanni the owner has fairly relaxed opening hours, that being most of the time that he is in the town. A more ameaniably and polite host would be hard to find. We were in on the afternoon of our wedding anniversary and when I thought we were getting the bill and leaving I was wrong, yanni arrived with a bottle of champagne and two glasses. He also does a very mean and plentiful line in crep'e with a plethora of fills but the Nutella has to be the best and now scrimping either.

We frequented the establishment several times after our first encounter and never did we feel that we were not part of the furniture. The kids were fed popcorn when we took them down and were entertained by Yanni Mekong crep'es. Everyone who came in were treated as long lost friends and given the same welcome. At his discretion a round of crushed berries mixed in vodka (we think as he would tell us) was passed around in shot glasses for the discerning patron.

With the amount of other establishments available on the road into town Arubh is understated and not seen as a spot to be at, that is so wrong it is lively when itwants to be and quite and relaxed at others, but the service from Yanni and his daughter is second to none and well worth a visit, we will be back there next time we are in town.
