I stayed here for a week with my partner, and found there were both good and bad aspects to this accommodation.
On arrival after an overnight flight, the prospect of hauling my luggage up stairs was not appealing. Thankfully there are only three floors! I was also surprised to find that while there are safety deposit boxes, these are not in the rooms but at reception. I was quite uncomfortable having to lift out money and valuables in plain view of anyone in the area at the time.
The self catering aspect is barely fit for purpose. There is a sink, a fridge, two cooking rings, a saucepan big enough to heat water to make a cup of tea, a frying pan, two knives, two forks, two spoons, two glasses, two plates ... one mug, one cup, we only got one bowl but I believe there is supposed to be two. There is no way I could have prepared a meal with this, even eating breakfast was difficult!
The bathroom left a lot to be desired. We were provided with only two bath towels. No hand towels or bath mat. The shower consisted of a shower tray and a glorified hosepipe, and no shower curtain. There was no way of fixing the shower head overhead. Consequently the bathroom became wet almost in its entirely when anyone had a shower, and as there was nothing to protect or dry the floor with there was a number of occasions where this was quite dangerous.
For us, the most annoying thing was the curtain and lack of a shutter. Our window was east facing, and we were lucky enough to have a partial sea view. However the curtain was tissue thin and this meant the room was flooded with light from 6am. We took to using clothes pegs to attach our beach towels to the curtain, to reduce the amount of light getting through. It helped only very slightly. The air conditioning is not overly powerful, so the increase in temperature at this time of the day was rather noticeable.
Despite the major inconveniences I have discussed, it is kept very clean and has a lovely friendly atmosphere. It is run by three families who will not pass you without saying hello. They are very helpful with recommending restaurants and things to do. The Butterfly is also in a great location, there are restaurants and a supermarket a stone's throw away, less than five minutes will get you to the nearest stretch of beach. It is about ten minutes walk into town, which is along flat.
Overall, I would probably not stay here again but would advise anyone considering coming here to come prepared (perhaps with blackout curtains!).
