“In one word: GREAT !”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

I found this restaurant on the internet and we decided to give it a try, since the comments were really good, it was a VERY good idea! The waiters were very nice, the restaurant is well situated, the food is absolutely delicious (large choice of Greek specials), the ambiance was wonderful (we went there twice, the second time there was a Greek group and it was really nice). Prices are very reasonable. You won't regret to give it a try!

“An island in an ocean of despair”
Reviewed September 9, 2011

Situated facing the beach of Kathada Bay, adjacent to the culinary disaster of Faliraki, is the Kabos Cavos Taverna. A very clean and well kept eatery with the kitchen on full display to the diners. The decor is simple but tasteful. Service is usually attentive and helpful. They do cater for families, so noise and disturbance can be a serious problem on some nights. The food is excellent with occasional special dishes. Priced at around 30% cheaper than comparable Tavernas in Faliraki, it is well worth a visit. The view at sunset is worth the trip.
Enjoy Greek food in civilised surroundings and have the luxury of being able to pay by credit card. By contrast, Faliraki is a credit card free zone when it comes to eating out. Cash only!. No wonder the place is shutting down, with endless rows of closed shops and restaurants. The new VAT rate on restaurants, set at an eye watering 27%, should kill the rest off. Good riddance....
