“Beautiful”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

the climb up the 114 steps, to this beautiful little church can be a little hard for the elderly or those with mobility issues, but the church is beautiful and the views of Petra town from the top are amazing.
this church stands out in Petra, you can see it from anywhere in town.
for me it was a must see when i visited this town.
i highly recommend it.

“Great church ... great place”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

We really enjoyed our visit to this church . The spot that it is built, on the top of a rocky hill is amazing and even more unbelievable the fact that under the church there is a small spring from which agiasma (holy water) comes out from. However this last place is secret and you won't find it unless you search thoroughly the whole church or a local tells you about. I'm sorry, but I'll stay only on this hint ... the rest of the search is your job (whoever might be interested in seeing this).
Don't be afraid of the stairs, they are not that many (actually 147 if I'm not mistaken).
