We stayed at Smaragdi Hotel twice and hopefully we repeat the experience next summer.The hotel is really lovely and the pool area is very beautiful.The room was really pretty and clean with a very comfortable bed.The staff are all very kind and helpful.Moreover,both times there was a person waiting for us at the port in order to pick us up. We are looking forward to our next stay there!!!
We stayed at Smaragdi hotel for a week at the end of July and had a brilliant time. The hotel staff are all very helpful and friendly and we can't praise them enough. On our second night we found our room air conditioning was not quite working properly so we reported this to the manager and she immediately supplied us with a mega blaster fan which worked a treat and for the inconvenience we were given a 30 euro voucher to use on food or drink within the hotel, and then the air con was fixed the following day so all was good. We really appreciated the speed in which it was rectified and the kind gesture of the voucher. Our room was large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom shower was lovely. The pool and bar area is pretty and very well maintained. The long black sand beach is a very short walk and the area has some reasonably priced restaurants. We used the local bus service (cheap and regular service) to get to Fira and Oia and we would also recommend taking the local bus to Santo winery. Everywhere you turn there are spectacular views. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends and would love to return again in the future.
Amazing hotel with perfect service, the straff is very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is locate near the beach with many restaurants! The pool was nice and clean.
We loved our stay at Smaragdi Hotel and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others! The pool area is very pretty and our room was very clean. The beach is a very short walk away, as is the bus stop if you want to go to Fira or Oia. The clerks are very helpful with directions and maps of the area. We appreciated that the hotel will have a person waiting to pick you up at the airport, and if you arrive before check-in time you are welcome to use the pool area and an available shower and bathroom.
I visited Smaragdi Hotel in July with my wife and a friend of ours for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were swiftly checked in and whisked away to our rooms where we had gotten a quick and complete run down on how the utilities etc worked. The room was very modern, spacious, and best of all clean! The beds were comfortable and the rim had all the amenities needed. Staff were incredibly helpful (booked quads, brought anything we asked for to our room, organized transfers for us, etc. The pool and bar were also very clean and convenient. Upon checking out we had advised were headed up to Imerovigli for two more nights and were told that if for whatever reason we were back to the south of the island to stop in and feel welcome to use the pool and facilities. The staff and service here were 1st class and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Santorini.
