We have just spent a wonderful relaxing week in this quaint hotel. It was exactly what we needed, it is very very clean, pool area is lovely, staff are so helpful and polite. Breakfast is unusual but if you are prepared to give things ago you might find as I did that it was all really quite nice. If you just want to relax, enjoy the sun and try a different restaurant every night and you don't expect 5* luxury for 3* prices then this might be the place for you. There is a couple of negatives first being loo paper going in the bin not the toilet which my husband hates doing and the flies and mozzies which drove me nuts. On the plus side the pool wifi is free and even worked in our room which was at the far end of the village. I am so glad we went and the only reason we won't go again is that we are trying to go to each place only once. We also met some lovely people as everyone was very friendly both in the village and at the cocktail bar just outside. Many thanks to you all.

Room Tip: If you struggle to walk about please mention this as some rooms are a bit of a way from main hotel and pool.

First impressions of the hotel were great, very clean with lovely pool area with a nice bar terrace. Andreus helped us in with the bags, all the reception staff were wonderful and checking in went really smoothly.

The rooms are a decent size with nice large beds (on the harder side but that was fine for us), with a fridge and excellent air conditioning. However, we felt that the bathroom was small and could do with some T.L.C. This really is the only downside at this lovely hotel.

Breakfast is from 8 - 10, and is buffet style. Lovely European selection of food with fresh bread and pastries.

The bed linen and towels were changed every day, and there was no mess or litter anywhere in or around the hotel. The sunbeds around the lovely pool were comfortable, you could have as many pool towels as you needed and Andreus was there to serve drinks and snacks at the pool bar when you got thirsty or hungry.

Room Tip: Pick a studio for extra space.

Check in was smooth and efficient and Roy at reception made us feel very welcome. My first impression of our apartment was a little disappointing however I soon realised that it had everything we needed and couldn't fault it it. Some of the fixtures are a little dated but spotlessly clean and in perfect working order. Personally I found the beds a little uncomfortable and hard, my husband agreed but our 12 yr old son thought they were perfect so it's all down to personal preference. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and sheets also. The maid works really hard and always had a smile. The small patio area outside was just lovely and quite secluded, perfect for a peaceful late night glass of wine that can be bought from the local mini market, €3 for litre and a half. The pool area is fantastic, very clean, quiet, plenty of sunbeds and Andreaus at the bar is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Both my husband and I celebrated birthdays while we there and on each occasion we came back to find a bottle of wine in our room along with glasses, flowers and wee note wishing us well. It's touches like that which sum up the service at Meltemi Village. Personable and first class. Will definitely be back.

Meltemi Villas/Hotel is a wonderful stay, the rooms are fine and what you would expect, there are various types within the Meltemi Villa complex, you have a couple of suites that have a jacuzzi, then you have the hotel room side of things, and then the Villas. The pool area is great, albeit there are a few huge palm trees, so the sun is shining more on oneside of the pool in the morning then as the sun hits midday, it moves and shines over all the pool area, though you may have to move beds if you are a sun worshiper, this is not a problem at all though. If you are half board you receive breakfast as standard, then a voucher were you can eat in the outside restaurant area where the food is great though this voucher can only be used in the complex up to about 7pm of an evening, where you can then use the voucher at the restaurant on the sea front which is called the - Atlantis, I would suggest you use your voucher of an evening and either make yourself something or pick some food up from the local market shop.

Certain prices with the restaurants vary not to much though as the food is virtuality the same, though there are a few exceptions, the pricing on the drinks within the restaurants can vary in a dramatic way, I found whilst drinking a beautiful bottle of Santorini Boutari (red) may be €15, it was €28 in another, so just be careful with this particular bottle, though you can walk along and look through the menus and check out the prices. If you are going to use the sun-bed's down on the beach, some charge €6 per couple, you can stay clear of these as some offer Free sun-beds, so check out the boards along the beach front. The bus service is good getting from Perissa (try and get the express bus it only takes 15 minutes and there is a board in the window at the front of the bus) to Thira(Fira) the capital and then from the bus station you can get to other locations around the island for a very small cost.

We have always wanted to visit Santorini and we were not disappointed. The hotel staff were wonderful and so helpful, from reception staff to cleaners. Special mention to Kelly Roy and to Andreaus, he was on hand at breakfast and kept everything topped up, he also served at the pool bar and served lunch again brilliant service nothing ever to much trouble, Thanks Andreaus.
The pool area was always clean tidy and so quiet just what we needed for our week away. The food at the hotel was wonderful and tasted yummy. We stayed on a half board basis which meant we could have lunch or dinner. We ate at the restaurant in the evening called the Atlantis which is attached to the hotel down at the beach, only a short walk again we were looked after. The area of Perissa and the bars and not in your face you don't have people trying to pull you in it very easy going. The beach area is clean and well looked after and the view of the sun setting is wonderful. We took a bus ride to Thira on the express bus only 15 mins to watch the sun set, this is a must see its breath taking. Thira has lots of bars and restaurant's but its a lot more expense but has some nice shops. We will be going back next year definitely to this hotel and resort.

Room Tip: We were in the studio's not the main part of the hotel which were quiet, we had room 54 which had the sun in the back in the morning, room 51 had sun all afternoon as my brother had this.
