Our stay at this four star Hotel started with the most friendly welcome we have ever had, by Anka the receptionist. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well decorated, and the public rooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The staff are helpful and friendly in this small Hotel.
We stayed Bed and Breakfast, but had dinner in the Hotel a few times, the food there is very good, and the breakfasts catered for all tastes. The Veggera hotel is situated just a few yards from the beach and the sunbeds were free, most unusual!
The Hotel provided free Wi-Fi, this covered all of the Hotel and also their beach area, so no having to sit in the reception area to access the internet.

Perissa is a very laid back resort, with lots of restaurants and tavernas to choose from, I would recommend N’tomatina for good food and great traditional Greek music also Gods Garden, their Lamb is to die for! But we ate in many more Restaurants and the food was always delightful.
We booked trips locally and had no problems, the excursions were all excellent and very good value for money, book at the Information bureau near the end of the beach.

All in all, this was one of the best holidays I have had for a long time, I would certainly return to Santorini, anytime I needed a good chill out holiday.

Room Tip: Always ask for a room on the top floor as there are rooms slightly below the poolside level.

We have just returned from Santorini stay at the Veggara hotel, we paid for £56 each for a upgaded room which we thought we would be given when we arrived, we were allocated room 21 which we found to be just a recently refurbished room.
We expressed our dis-satisfacation with the manager, who said that they were fully booked with a wedding party and this was the only room available at the time but he promised to change our room in 3 days which he did, allocating us what I called an upgraded room. This hotel must rank as one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in, bed linen and towels were changed daily, the maid earned her tip at the end of our stay,an excellent service.
Our booking was on a half board basis which we found the quality and menu choice suited us, with good waiter service with a choice of eating out or inside which we chose as non smokers.
Would I recommend this hotel ? yes, but don't pay for an up graded room as a fellow guests who arrived with us were allocated an up-graded sea view room at the basic price, and the hotel can get a little noisy when wedding parties are booked in, we had two during our two week stay, but guests behaviour are not a reflection on the quality of the hotel

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are below ground level so ask for an high floor when booking as the hotel is only...

Recently holidayed in Santorini. Arrived 10.45pm at the hotel - they had kept the restaurant open for the late arriving guests and we had a four course meal (we were half board). Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Cleanliness was excellent, meals were good to very good, and the hotel was in a lovely spot in Perissa with the beach literally across the road. There was also free Wi-fi, two pools, a pool bar and accommodation set out like a small village with apartments spread about the small complex. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, enhanced by the courtesy of the staff and the positioning of the hotel. Well done to all staff members.

This hotel has the perfect location, opposite the beach and in the middle of all the restaurants and bars . It has two lovely pool areas, really nice sun beds on the beach with bar service, and really helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast is the usual continental type with enough choice and you can sit either inside or outside to eat it. We had a superior room and it was really nice with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Definitely recommend this hotel .
If you plan on hiring a car go one road back from the hotel, it's much cheaper!

As per the previous review, we booked this holiday in October 2013 but just one week before we were due to fly, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked. We chose not to accept the offer made by Thomas Cook but chose the Kouros Village instead (it was fab!). We were informed that we would be able to have a free excursion of our choice and a free 3 course dinner with wine at the Veggera. I did wonder why anyone would want a meal at a hotel that had ditched them in favour of a wedding party (and there were a LOT of us who had been "overbooked"...not just 1 or 2) and my gut instinct proved correct...as soon as staff realised we were having a complimentary meal, the service and attitude changed and we were rushed, made to feel unwelcome and a bit of a hindrance. I don't think this overbooking was any fault of Thomas Cook but I think they should ensure it doesn't happen again on such a large scale. This may well be a good hotel but I will never book it again.

We had booked to stay at this hotel as we had stayed twice before on previous holidays and had been pleased with its location and were familiar with it.
However! Two weeks before our holiday we were told that they had overbooked and that we could either take an
alternative upgrade or cancel.
We decided to upgrade to a hotel which was not as conveniently placed in terms of the beach and restaurants.
We have had a wonderful holiday!
As compensation, the Veggerra offered us a free meal which turned out to be from the full board menu and free sunbeds which are in abundance anyhow in May! When we arrived to take our free meal we were made to feel like a nuisance and the service was atrocious.
We considered ourselves to be loyal guests but have since discovered that a wedding party took preference over around forty other potential guests.
Speaking for ourselves we are glad this happened as we have discovered a far better, more superior hotel whose staff cannot do enough to ensure that their guests are happy at all times.
Be warned!

We had a wonderful week holiday in this lovely hotel. Very clean. Daily new towels. U can hire beach towels for €1. Nice hotel beach across the road. Friendly service. Quirky outlay of hotel. Cosy rooms. Two nice pools. Bar. Cant praise the hotel enough. Cant wait to go back there. Perissa is a lovely resort.
