“Great beach!”

Reviewed November 6, 2018

The bus from Fira in Santorini takes you right here in about 20 minutes. The sand is black and there are many hidden treasures to find (I went home with a lot of seaglass). There are a ton of restaurants but they are very pushy about trying to get you to eat there. I was skeptical, but we just chose one at random and the food was good. I recommend for a day trip while in Santorini.

Pretty beach with a town of souvenir shops and restaurants to go along with it. When we were there late October the surf was pretty strong so families with young kids be aware. Cute town, lovely church and on the bus line for Santorini

Lovely long beach with plenty of choice of loungers, their free if you have lunch in the restaurant behind you.... the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is it’s a little big and busy for my personal tastes, preferring the much quieter Akro beach.... but it’s still good here, loads of choices of restaurants and bars along this strip too.

It’s a lot better than kamari beach, and it is a lot calmer, and quicker.
Perissa beach looked more welcoming with bars and restaurants across the road from the beach.
Great beach to chill out, and away from everything.
