This beautiful 7 km black sand beach is in front of honeymoon beach hotel that I have vacationed at for 20 years. A beautiful boardwalk with lots of shopping and nite clubs, water sports galore. You will return here❤️

Just a bus ride away from Santorini centre! Spend a few hours relaxing on this black beach. The mountains are your backdrop...the black volcanic sand your carpet...
The water is clean and refreshing. Rent a sun bed for €5 and relax!
Plenty of restaurants close by...

Unfortunately it rained just as we set off to go to the black beach. The beach in itself was ok but the weather got worse and so was heavily raining. We did meet some Americans there and so ended up in a nice chat but unfortunately for us we had the bad weather and end of season. There isn’t many shops around there to be honest although prices of some items slightly cheaper than Fira. All in all I probably wouldn’t go back unless there was decent weather to tempt me.

Perissa beach is a clean, beautiful beach with the backdrop of the mountain where Ancient Thira sits.
There are a few spots where you can organise water sports and there are so many restaurants and supermarkets for lunch.
This beach is also beautiful for an evening stroll.
